ENGINE TYPE L/S35MC, S42MC

Cylinder cooling water is stopped as emergency treatment in case cooling water leaks from jacket or
liner.
In such a case, 1 cylinder cut running should be carried out.
(Cooling water is stopped only leaked cylinder.)

However, main engine which type is L/S35MC and S42MC are not equipped valve for stopping each
pipe of cooling water.
Therefore, water line has to be mounted the blind plate instead the valve for inlet and outlet.
Regarding blind plate, pleases make it by tin plate or cupper plate.

We would like to inform the position of blind plate on next page.

a. For round flange, please use the blind plate which is cut round type of a size gasket.
b. For oval flange, please use the blind plate which is cut rectangle type.
