Capital Expenditures
In 2016, we reduced our capex by 16% to $175 million. This was due, among other things, to the completion
in 2014 of the Strategic Investment Program we launched in 2004. Over the past ten years, the Company’s
facilities underwent a large-scale modernization, which resulted in virtually full upgrades across all
production capacities.
