General Information
Description
In this 3-week course, we will focus on an introduction to complementary and alternative medicines that can help with
daily stresses that cause health issues like depression and anxiety. Specifically, we will learn the benefits of yoga,
meditation, and massage. These modalities will give you all the tools that are needed to start living a reduced stress life
as some stress is useful in daily life.

In each week we will focus on the benefits and types of three complementary and integrative medicines that will help you
reduce your stress and anxiety. For lesson one, yoga, we will cover background and benefits along with practicing some of
the movements. For lesson two, meditation, we will cover how meditation can increase your focus and your ability to
handle certain situations. We will also do some mindful meditation practices along with some nature and music therapy.
Lesson 3, massage, we will cover how we can do personal massage and treatments for those body parts that might be
frustrating the mind.
