    GETTING DEEPER

    Lesson: The 7 reading strategies are: making connections, asking questions, determining the
    importance of inferring and predicting, inferring and predicting, visualizing, synthesizing, and
    using fix-up strategies.

    What I want to say about the lesson: As a student, especially now that I am using modular
    learning, it is relevant to use these strategies to have a better understanding of what I am
    reading. It will help me to think more deeply and more consciously.

    What I found out: These reading strategies help us to understand, connect to, and determine
    the importance of what we are reading. It will help us learn ‘how’ to understand. If we know
    ‘how’ to understand, then we are more likely ‘to’ understand.
