1 What is the COTEC MATRIX 3.0

COTEC MATRIX 3.0 Inkjet-Printer has the following features:

User friendly, easy to use digital printing system.

Digital printing on Progressive lenses with no limitation in design and
surface property, even on hydrophobic coated lenses.
Print manufacturer’s logos or designs for marketing purposes and
special promotional actions.
Flexible, easy and individual creation of designs as bitmap files.
Teach-in mode for customer specific hidden marks
Automatic compensation of lens power
Automatic brightness adjustment for tinted lenses (up to 80%)
OMA protocol via RX-Server or file interface
Excellent printing results due to high-resolution print head.
Fully automatic print head maintenance.
Innovative and low-maintenance printing system with automatic ink
supply and ink reservoir for approx. 30.000 lenses.
Immediate drying ink, no curing process needed.
Low ink consumption.
Changing of ink box within seconds.
Environmental friendly ink, easy to remove without residue.
Ink is non-hazardous and can be shipped and stored without restrictions.
No solvents necessary. Ink is ready to use.
Print head is designed for 24/7 operation.
