Adverbs

Some Spanish adverbs are formed by adding – mente to the feminine form of the
adjective. Spanish –mente corresponds to the English adverbial suffix –ly. Here’s
how you form adverbs:
1) Take the masculine form of the adjective
histórico (historical)
2) Make it feminine
histórica
3) Add - mente
históricamente (historically)

1)Masculine English 2)Feminine 3)Adverb English

With adjectives that do not have a feminine form (end in an –e or a consonant),

simply add -mente to the singular form.
