II. LESSON c. Pupils work in pairs and assign each student a number one or two.

– GIST- TASK d. All pupils with number ones describe what they see in the picture on
page 125 to their partner and to say who they associate it with.
III. DETAILED TASK e. Pupils look at the words in bold in the sentences of Activity A and
state which are verbs (went, had been), which are pronouns (I, she)
and which are time expressions (last week, the week before).
f. Pupils read the sentences carefully to discuss the changes in the
verbs.
g. Pupils read the rules before filling in any answers in Activity B
