Power,
outside,
left side
The power, outside,and or left side is on the
court they hit most of the balls. Because of
where they are on the court they have the
most room to do there full hitting
approach, and because they have more
room they get more momentum and can
get a lot more power.
Middle
The middle is normally the tallest person
on the team, there job to to block the ball
or hit the ball. Their main role is being the
line of defense against the other team
setter
The setter is the player who runs the
team's offense. They will try to receive the
second touch and set it for the opposite or
outside hitter. A setter needs to have
strong communication skills and must be
able to make quick decisions during a
match.
Right side
Opposite hitter
Opposite hitters tend to be players who have the
most versatility and can excel on both offense
and defense. The opposite hitter also needs to
possess solid jumping skills.
Libero
A libero or back-row defensive
specialist.(DS) plays only back row. Since
they only play in the back row, those
players are often shorter than the
front-row blockers and hitters but have
impeccable ball-control skills.
