"In my den," says Fox.

I go to Fox's den. No Rabbit
But I see Rabbit's fuzz. I look
up the hill. I see fuzz up the
hill too.

"Did you see Rabbit?" I say.
"Yes. He went that way," says Pig.

"Can we come too?" says Pig.

for Rabbit.
"Look!" I say. "Is that
Rabbit's fuzz in the mud?"
We see footprints in the
mud too. Are the footprints
Rabbit's footprints?

"What do you want?" says Cat.

with me. We see a pit with fuzz

Mitchell Rose is a children's book


illustrator whose works include Norman,
The Great Catsby, To Grill a Mockingbird,
and Baseball Fever. He has also worked
as a writer, animator, and art director
of educational software for more than
30 years and has won dozens of awards,
including eight Cine Golden Eagles, the
First Prize in the Golden Gate Award for
Short Subjects from the San Francisco
Film Festival, and five Codie Awards. He
lives in northern California.
