LESSON GUIDE
I. Topic: Types of Quadrilateral

II. Objectives:
a. identify the types of quadrilaterals;
b. draw the different types of quadrilaterals; and
c. cite examples of quadrilaterals in real-life situations.

III. Presentation:

I. Motivation

The teacher will present a song entitled “Quadrilateral” in the tune of ABC
Song. The lyrics of the song will be flashed in television so that her students
will be able to see the lyrics. She will let her student sing the ABC Song first
to know if they know the tune. After, she will demonstrate how to sing the
Quadrilateral song using ABC Song tune. Then the teachers will let the
students sing the song altogether.

There are many kinds of polygons.


One of it is quadrilateral.
It came from the word quadro,
Which means four as its side.

One type of this is parallelogram


With two pairs of parallel sides.
Another one is trapezoid
With 1 only pair of parallel sides.

Kite is different from others.


It has no parallel sides.
While rectangle is dissimilar
It has 4 right angles.

Square seems to be perfect among others


It has 4 equal sides.
Quadro, quadro, quadrilaterals.
Let’s learn more about its types.

After singing the song, the teacher will ask the following questions:
“Based on the song we just sang, what is a quadrilateral?”
“How many types of quadrilateral are there?”
“What are these types of quadrilateral?

II. Virtual Reality Presentation


The teacher prepared a 360° video presenting the different types of
quadrilaterals and its examples in real-life setting.

III. Generalization
The teacher will ask questions regarding the different types of
quadrilaterals, their characteristics, and their applications
