Acre’s analysis

A brief look on Acre’s average temperature,

accumulated precipitation and relative humidity.
Average temperature
Years back (red line 1931-1960), the
average temperature was colder
than the newest analyzed (blue
line 1981-2010). Why is that?
Mainly because of global
warming, that is making the
temperature hotter.

The green line (1961-1990) is

colder than the blue but hotter
than the red. But there is an
exception: between May and
July, the green line stay colder Comparison: We can see that the red line is where it is
than the red. After July the mostly colder, but between May and July it got warmer
green line started to get than the same period in the green line. The blue line is
warmer again. warmer than the other lines.
Accumulated precipitation:
● From 1961 - 1990: On the beginning of
the year (January, February), Acre’s
precipitation is high, but it goes
decreasing, and gets really low in May,
June, July, and in August it finally
increases a little, and continue to
increase for the rest of year.
● From 1991 - 2010: Acre's
precipitation in January is high,
decreases a little on February,
increases in March, decrease
again in the middle of the year
- with its precipitation almost
at 0, and only in August and
September, it increase again.

● Comparison:, Acre’s accumulated precipitation, in the beginning of the year, the blue line is lower
than the green line, meaning that it rained less in January and February of 1981-2010, than in the
same period in 1961-1990. Then in March, the blue line gets higher, meaning that it rained more in
Acre in 1981-2010 than on 1961-1990. And from April forward, the graphs are very similar.
Relative humidity

The humidity was way bigger at

the time of 1930 - 1960 then 1961 -
1990 and nowadays. the highest
peak of humidity was 90.4(1930 -
1960) and the lowest peak was
77.8(nowadays)

In august, the humidity is lower

than in other months of the year
and is generally higher in march,
april, november and december.
Atmospheric pressure:
1981-2010: From January to March, Acre’s
atmospheric pressure is low comparing
with the other months. In April, it starts to
increase, and goes increasing until July,
and from August to November it
decreases, and only in December the
graphic starts to increase once again.

Comparison: We have no other data and

information to compare with the blue line
(1981-2010).
General comparison:
● When the accumulated precipitation is low, the atmospheric pressure is high -
and vice-versa;
● When the average temperature is colder/low, the accumulated precipitation
gets low too, and in hotter temperatures, the accumulated precipitation gets
higher;
● When the average temperature is low, the relative humidity is high -and
vice-versa;
● When the average temperature is colder, the atmospheric pressure gets higher,
and when the temperature gets higher, the atmospheric pressure gets lower;
● When the atmospheric pressure is high, the relative humidity gets low - and vice
versa;
Conclusion:
The graphics have a lot of things in common, and one of them is that
the more recent the year is, the worse it its, comparing 1960 to 2010
for example, 2010 is a lot worse in terms of humidity, temperature
and precipitation.
There are lots of changes in humidity, temperature, precipitation,
etc. And we can see these changes by seeing the data that changed
throughout the years in those graphics. Temperature is probably the
thing that most affect others.
