Today, due to human activities and natural activities, the world's climate has changed.

The
changing world climate has also changed the climate in my region. In this essay, I will write about
the similarities and differences between the climate in my region now and the climate in my area
10 years ago.

Compared to 10 years ago, the climate in my area still has some characteristics similar to the
climate of 10 years ago. It is still a hot and humid climate with a lot of rain. The average annual
temperature is about 23.2oC and the rainfall is still ranging from 1,400 to 1,700mm. Besides, it
has dry and cold winters and hot and humid summers. The highest monthly mean temperature is
28.9°C(July-Summer). The lowest monthly average temperature is 15.8°C (January-Winter). it is
a place with a large temperature difference with levels ranging from 13oC to 14oC. The total
number of sunny hours in the year ranges from 1,530 to 1,776 hours.

Although the climate in my area has not changed much in general, it still has a few characteristics
that are different from the climate 10 years ago. The first difference is about the change in
temperature. Compared to 10 years ago, in Winter now, the temperature tends to decrease
sharply, the temperature sometimes drops from 1oC to 3oC. Summer is getting hotter and hotter.
especially the average temperature in July tends to increase by about 0.2oC. Therefore, the
temperature range also increases. Due to the influence of global warming, the average annual
temperature increases from about 0.2oC to 0.3oC. The second difference is the difference in the
air. Today's air is becoming more and more polluted and not as clean as before due to the
increasing amount of CO2 in the atmosphere and dust from burning fuels and vehicles. Besides,
the air has unpleasant odors due to the smell of waste from human activities.

In conclusion, the above features are comparison and contrast between the climate now
compared to 10 years ago in my region. For me, the climate is becoming more and more extreme
which negatively affects our lives. That's why we need to join hands to improve it.
