VIRTUAL SESSION
PROPOSAL
OVERVIEW
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), also known as the Global Goals, were
adopted by all the member states of the United Nations in 2015, as a “Universal
Call” to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy
peace and prosperity by 2030.
Having become accustomed to the new normal, the world is now entering a new
year. With new hopes, come the opportunity and the responsibility of creating a
world young people can find their place in Fresh leadership requires fresh thinking
and perspectives. Thus, we are proudly present "The South Korea Y-SDGs
Leaders Week" to connect youth from around the world learn more about SDGs
and exchange activities about Korean Culture.
The South Korea Y-SDGs Leaders Week will include a wide range of SGDs
stakeholder voices showcasing studies, SDGs conference & projects, Korean
language and culture class. We want all of delegates get the new yet fun learning
experience through virtual conference and exchange.
OBJECTIVE
Participants recognize the potential in public speaking,
culture exchange, leadership, talents and interest to
contribute in their respective fields.
Facilitating youth to discuss, share and speak their SDGs idea
and project.
Facilitate global youth to create collaboration project
TARGET OF PARTICIPANTS
250 youth in Asia-Pacific Countries
Student & Activists who has passion to learning
Youth who are interested in South Korea Exchange Activities
Youth aged 15 - 35 years old.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
Participants recognize the potential in skill, talents and
interest to contribute in their respective fields.
Participants have experience and escalate education from the
representative of South Korea University
Participants will escalate the skill of discussion, analytical, and
public speaking
Participants will learn about Korean culture and basic
languages.
ORGANIZER
Studec International (International NGO that focused on
education and learning development to support SDGs) in
collaboration with Youthnow (NGO under UN Habitat South
Korea that focused on Global SDGs Awarness and Actions)
EXCLUSIVE PROGRAM
Youth SDGs COnference
The e-conference will be attended virtually by SDGs
International Speakers from various backgrounds
such as Government, Young Innovators, Social
Activist and the Experts.
Assessment Day
After the participants learn in SDGs and Korea
Exchange class, they will be scored for the trancsript.
The transcript will be the authenthec evidence of
their efford and dedication during the program. This
transcript will be very usefull for upgrade the CV.
