Executive Summary
Cambatong is a Barangay in the Municipality of Hinatuan, in the province of

Surigao del Sur. It’s population as determined by the 2020 Census was 2,161. This
represented 4.93% of the total population of Hinatuan. The barangay officials are
responsible for managing barangay population, records, and household records.
The barangay officials’ faces problem with regard to paper based processes,
monitoring and managing household beneficiaries for indigent people. These
problems that the barangay encountered in many years, the team carefully
discusses to break-down these problems and come up with a solution that is
reliable and efficient.
With this system, we wish to improve the productive and improve the
productive and improve the workflow of the barangay officials “Barangay
Household Record System” a system that manage household information of the
barangay composed of elements design to perform a set of task that have been
programmed. It is an information system for government institution to manage all
confidential information of the barangay. It includes list of name’s Purok
location,and Date of birth.
The team will use the application in development of the system. Wherein it
prioritize rapid prototyping and quick feedback. With rapid application
development, developers can make multiple iterations and updates to software
rapidly without needing to start a census scheduled from scratch each time.

Cambatong is a barangay in municipality of hinatuan, in the province of

Surigao del Sur. Cambatong is situated at approximately 8, 4816,126.3062, in the
island of Manila. Barangay Cambatong is one of the visited places nowadays
because of their tourist attraction; different people every day visited their place.
And there goal is to trace up and manage people living in the area, because
Cambatong belong to rural areas that needs, special attention in developing
information and communication technology. The barangay tends to enhance their
computing issues.

The population of Cambatong grew from 1,497 in 1990 to 2,161 in 2020, an
increase of 664 people over the course of 30 years. The latest census figures in
2020 denote a positive growth rate of 1.61%, or an increase of 158 people, from
the previous population of 2,003 in 2015.

System Request
The project sponsor on this system is Hon. Edgard Rendon, the barangay
captain of Cambatong, Municipality of Hinatuan. Project sponsor system that will
help out and improve the process of barangay secretary in government
transaction and management.
The project aim to have easier, hassle free, have a faster and improve the
way of managing the household census, manage population record personal
profiles of government transaction, it help the barangay to organized while it
reduces working effort of barangay official and staff boosting the productivity of
the barangay.

The client’s familiarity is considered as moderately low. The developer’s

familiarity is moderately high.
The clients are quite familiar of this kind of application. Initially the user will
not be having difficulties in using this application. But after the user has been
clearly introduce to the application they would find the system more convenient
and efficient to handle in tracing household and management. It can boost
productivity with reduced working effort.
The team is familiar with the technology that is being developed. Before
the application is being developed, the team have done research and studied the
client’s management to equip with knowledge on what is the workflow and
operation of the organization.

Organizational Feasibility
BrgyCambatong is organizational feasible since it will be helpful in brgy.

management it is very significant to the brgy. To have a computerize information
system to automate the workflow of the brgy.
It is a low risk due to the benefits that the brgy. will get having this record
system. The brgy. official can easily trace the household record of brgy, trace up
the persons status and manage its record.

Familiarity with technology
The client is inexperienced of operating the application. And also in the

backend side of the system, the user has no direct knowledge of the technology
required to operate and manage a database. The team will address such issue
through having seminars, interactive workshop and guide on how to operate the
computer and how to operate the system. Also feed backs from the users are
crucial for the team to identify concerns and issues experienced by the user and
will be dealt constantly.

Project size
The project size is considered low risk.
The scope of the system in Barangay Cambatong. The system consists of

only one distinctive features depending to the type of user that is using the
system. The list of household names that manage the Purok location, Family
records, like date of birth, Personal status, Age, and Family background like
Father’s name and Mother’s name. The barangay secretary is the only person
how has the permission to see the confidential information of the computer
system or the database. The barangay officials will manage the list of household
in every government transaction is needed. The project time frame is moderately
critical as the officials would still run on normal matters.

Project Plan
Project Methodology
The team will serve the system prototyping based methodology of

system development. The researchers will go through Planning, Analysis, Build
Prototype, User Evaluation, Coding, Refine Prototype, Testing and Implement.
The need of exertion will be gathered by the administration in the

interview with the client. System requirements will be gathered and analyze in
order to build an efficient system and meet the user requirements.
After requirements are gathered and understand, the researchers will

proceed to introductory design includes system architecture, user interface, and
database design. Once clients will approved the project, writing program will
followed. After that, the system undergoes approval again to the client and then
rework if needed and testing and implementation will follow.

Advantages of using Barangay Household Record system
Managing the Household Census –
The system will help the administration save people private details by not
spending more time well-searched on paper documents.
Slow internet connections –
In this system it will only take time to install the application, it needs
connection but after installing the application it can use this offline anytime.
Unclear people details –
The system can do edit, save and delete if incase. But it is much better to
encode carefully and well detailed information.

Interface Design
Administration Management System (Desktop). The user will log in and will be directed
to the admin interface according to the role. (Admin, Barangay Secretary) in their user
account (admin).

After the log in system will identify the account, the account base on the roles and
will be directed to the dashboard interface (Admin Dashboard)

Then, the pages were the user can see the list of household member.

The user will go directed to the residence information form.

Then, click the new record to fill in or add new information.

After clicking save the information form, the new record will be
display in the table list.

If you wish to edit some details click the edit button and change some.

After editing click the upgrade button then the status of household
Member will be change.
