visiting

You should say:

– Where it was
– What it looked like
– What you did there or, what people did there
– and explain why you liked it.
To be frank, I’m not a big fan of flowers. I know they are stunning, gorgeous
and they are even considered a symbol of pure beauty. But, anyway, I don’t like
them much. So today i’ll talk about the park I’ve ever visited before. It is Thu
Cuc garden which I paid a visit with my friends when my secondary school
organized a trip for ninth graders before we started off a stressful high school
entrance exam. It is an amazing place located in the suburbs of Hanoi City.
Although its situation is a bit far away from the city center and took us about 1-
hour drive from Son Tay town, it still attracts millions of tourists each year. Or
better said, for that reason, it gets closer to nature than any parks I know. When I
drew level with water fountains in the entrance, I felt relaxed and comfortable.
The fresh atmosphere took my mind off the pressure of study right away.
Stepping inside this park, I was blown away by a plethora of ancient trees which
are very tall and their shades could cover a wide area. Along a pebble walking
path, there are crowds of peope of all ages taking a leisurely stroll together. The
colourful flowerbeds planted in every places coupled with fish pond creates a
spectacular scene which made me have the feeling that I was seeing the
landscape in fairy stories with my own eyes. Morever, this place is divided into
lots of sites suiting with many people from young to old. In here, you can play
tennis at tennis court, do some street workouts, pick flowers. Besides, it has an
airy space for a picnic. If my memory serves me right, my class took along a full
of food picnic hamper on this trip,we spread a blanket on the green grass then
both tucked in snacks and shot the breeze with each other. It was actually one of
my happiest student memories. So to cut a long story short, I’m deliberately
enamoured with this park because from there, I feel at ease as if I can escape
from the hustle and bustle of live. I can’t wait to come over here again, of
course, better off with my family and friends.
