MY FAVORITE HANGOUT
A hangout (N) is a place where a person frequently visits, especially for socializing or recreation. I love
to hang out with my best friend. My friends and I always hang out in every exciting place. But whenever
we choose to hang out (V), the first appears in our mind is the park. In other words, the park is our
favorite place to hang out.

The park is a great place for both quiet people and vibrant people, where we immersed with nature. We
can go there any time of the day, around 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM. People come here for different purposes,
with different ages. Some people want to find their creation, to do sports, to do constitutional, to go for a
walk, to gossip with friends whatever topics they are interested in at the time, or even cluster together
playing games of any kind such as Chinese chess or traditional games. The large park is divided into
many sections. There is a section for clubs, groups to do exercise, sports, to do yoga, to dance or sing…..
Elsewhere is for kids, a small playground with sand, a group of swings, slides, see-saws,….. Other
sections are used for nothing, so that, we can find silence for our own.

Someone said that “ The parks are the natural lungs of our city”. It is true. There are often trees, lots of
trees, many kinds from chit, seeds, grass, to old tree. Besides, there are many statues, ponds, fountains,….
in the park. Mostly, we go to the park in the morning, walk on the path. We come here to enjoy the fresh
air, to prepare for a working day. I can walk around and have sightseeing all day but not tired legs.
Moreover, we can enjoy a party of music, not only from instruments of clubs, speaker,.. but also there is a
choir of the birds in the first time of day. At noon, fewer people go to the park. Because of work-times,
they don’t have time to go out and maybe they spend this time to stay under air-conditioner. But with
others, noon at the park is the most beautiful time, especially with homeless people. They can lie
stretched on the benches under the shade of trees after hours of hard work. So we are, we feel and take
every breath of nature, hear nightingale’s singing, cicadas's buzz. But city persons were too hasty to
recognize this peaceful. After dinner, there are many people going to the park for a walk. The full wind
from trees caresses our hair. The pavement full up with street-food-stall. We can enjoy the hungry all the
times in the park. Many times, we buy coconut milk and chatting. We talk about class, home, jobs,… We
all feel relax after a tiring long day. After all, the park can be comparable with all the other entertainment
places, it can satisfy all entertainment needs. So, the parks always are our favorite hangout.

If we in mode saving cost or not. We still choose the park. Not only it is a free of cost entertainment
place, but also it is safe for the environment. We still having fun without spending our money. We can
run, jump, play group games, fishing, do some adventure at there. The park always be the first choice of
us when we want to hang out.
