I.1 Describe a museum you enjoyed visiting.

You should say:

I went to Paris a few months ago and visited the Museum of Perfume, and that was a unique experience for me. The location of the museum is
another attraction to the visiting tourists as it is situated in the centre of Paris, and it offers a great view both from the inside and outside. I was
taken aback by the splendid and memorable way it had decorated its entrance, a unique design for a museum. The exhibits of the museum were
perfumes from different eras, regions and categories. In fact, the idea of exhibiting perfumes and perfume bottles was a bit unusual to me. It was a
fabulous experience, and I felt wonderful with the displays of the museum.
I spent in the museum more than 3 hours because I wanted to see all of the exhibits.
I liked this museum as it revealed many secrets of perfumes and informed the visitors about the history of perfumes of different ages The whole
idea that a museum could be dedicated to perfumes was something unique to me and that's why I enjoyed such a great and unprecedented
experience.Overall, I must say that it was a wonderful experience for me to visit a museum and learn parfumes in a very interactive and interesting
manner and I definitely recommend everyone to visit this place at least once.

I.2 Describe a place that you would like to travel to. You should say:
I have a great desire to visit the Vatican City and that’s a wish I would like to fulfil. Vatican City is a comparatively small area and I want to visit all
the major places of this country. Since I live in Ukraine and would require a visa to enter the Vatican City, the aeroplane would be the most
convenient transportation for me. From the airport, I would need to hire a taxi and I wish to travel the Vatican City either in a rented car or on foot.
I do not have any particular plan to take a friend or a family member but a good companion would not be a bad idea. Someone who has an interest
in History (especially on Vatican City) would be a good company for the journey I guess. Right now I can think of Yuliia as my travel companion in
this journey.
I have a great interest in the mysteries and history of Vatican City. The places, the artworks, the buildings, the archives and many other interesting
historical events of this city make it a great attraction to millions of tourists of the world. I want to take the first-hand experiences of the historic
events I heard, read and learned about this city. The places and monuments of this city were described in lots of book I have read and the movies I
have watched. I would like to go there to witness the greatest works of famous painters, architects and leaders. My interest in history, art and
mystery are the main reasons for my interest to make this travel to Vatican City.
1.3Talk about a place in open air where you go to relax. Please say:
In my opinion, home is certainly one of the best places for my relaxation. But, outside of my home, there are also some places that I go out
frequently to relax and today, I would like to share one of them.

I would like to talk about a beautiful park, situated about 5 kilometers away from the place I live. This mini botanical garden has pretty much
everything you need for relaxation.  This is a beautiful park and I feel quite relaxed there. Every time I go there, I feel a different kind of peace that
the busy city, where I live in, rarely offers. The scenic beauty, the large lake, places for a picnic, boat rides, green vista, harmonic songs of nature,
the chirping of the birds, sweet aroma of  different flowers make it a paradise This is a perfect example of heaven for a nature lover. Moreover,
there is a lot to do in this park for refreshment, from checking its beautiful rose garden to sitting by the lake, taking small walks on the pavement or
just sitting on the benches to read some good books or watch people. Talking about books, I prefer to bring with me real book/ not an e-book. I
love the smell of books. I like the print on the paper and how the paper feels when you touch it.

The busy city has very fewer places like this one. Once inside, I can forget the busy schedule, think clearly, concentrate on revising my plans, breathe
fresh air, sit in a silent corner of the park and can read books or a magazine without any interruption.

Anyway, I think the park is the best place for me to relax because it certainly brings people close to mother nature while taking away all the stress
and anxiety of daily life. Furthermore, this is where I can be on my own, doing what gives me happiness without worrying about undue attention
from other people.

1.4 Describe a musical event in your country. You should say:

I am a student and I love music, especially rock music. I have enjoyed the recently finished the Rock music festival of Ukraine , and truly enjoyed the
performances from different bands of home and abroad.

The musical event took place at Central concert hall. . Though it was supposed to begin in the evening (by 5pm) the programme began at around
7pm for some technical difficulties. The entire hall was filled with audiences and most of them were college going students as they love this specific
genre most than any other genres of music.

This is an occasional music festival in Ukraine where a large number of bands take part and perform their own songs using modern and traditional
instruments. Most of the band groups are from underground and thus they are not familiar with the mainstream music industry. Besides, the songs
were splendid as well.

Such musical events are enjoyed by the young people ranging from teenage and specially organised to promote the underground bands. In fact, this
is a platform for the underground bands to rise up while it also increases the love for music among the youths. The arrangement of such musical
events is a great idea which will help the youths to get involved in musical activities more. The performances that we observed on the day were
great and actually, the performers can do far better if such events are regularly organised. Besides, it would be a great source of entertainment for
the young people if the country. Instead of wasting their times unnecessarily, it could be an effective way to help them be citizens loving music.

I have attended the event several times and enjoyed every time to be there. The event attracts lots of people and a festivity goes on surrounding
this event. I enjoy the music, the gathering and the festivity of this event.

1.5 Describe a movie that you saw recently. You should say:
I’ve seen many movies in my life. Here, I would like to talk about a movie, which I watched recently and it had a lasting impression on me.

I watched the movie a couple of days ago. On that day, I did not attend my college for physical illness. As I had to stay at home, I decided to pass
some quality moments. I sit to enjoy some television shows. I love to watch movies with my friends. But this time, I was alone. Though one of my
friends was supposed to come to meet me, he could not keep the promise for some other reasons. I asked my younger sibling to be with me during
the movie time. But he also denied showing some excuses. As a result, I was all alone to enjoy the movie.

The movie I watched was Kung Fu Panda 3. This is the latest instalment of the series and the two earlier series were heavily successful. This
instalment has a different plot than the earlier parts. This movie shows that Po meets with his own people – the other Pandas at the Panda village.
But he experiences another problem with this meeting and has to play the role of rescuer against the problem. Accordingly, he teaches and forms
his own soldiers to fight against the evil and finally, wins the battle.

I liked this animated movie for some particular motives. I’ve always preferred something a little sentimental, light-hearted, yet meaningful and this
movie had it all. Its just too much for my liking-really over-the top. This appears as an educative movie to me. In fact, I have watched the earlier
episodes of this series and got entertained. But this particular instalment was a bit different. The movie dealt with the issues like how Po trained up
his own people and engaged them in fighting against Kai, another spirit warrior. He took lots of responsibilities and also the assistance of his martial
art companions. Besides, the direction of the movie was wonderful. All the shots were perfect. I know that a good number of people had worked
hard to make it a success and they are successful in every term of the movie. So it received positive criticisms all around.

Look at the pictures, describe them and say some words about their painting genres and style.

The oil on canvas painting titled simply Sunflowers is one of the most famous works of art depicting still life/ Von Gogh greatly valued realism and
attention to detail, and were particularly well-known in the genre of stilllife painting. The Sunflowers
in a vase with a yellow
background paintings include 15 sunflowers with their stem in a vase standing on a table, with a yellowish
background. For this still life Van Gogh chose to focus onlyon a simple earthenware jug and a bouquet of
sunflowers soas not to distract from the brilliant colors of the impressive flowers. Van Gogh painted in an expressionist
style, forgoing realism in favor of bold colors and large, dynamic, thickly painted brushstrokes.

Twelve sunflowers, at various stages of growth and decay, burst outward from a simple earthenware jug. No two sunflowers in the arrangement are
alike; Van Gogh imbues each one with individual personality and expression. At the front of the picture, we can see some, are full and heavy,
rendered in a rich,thickly-painted mustard color. Others, like those at the top of

the arrangement, have petals that extend wildly out from the center of the flowers like yellow flames. Van Gogh’s use of a bold red color for the
center of a large sunflower on the right, the outlines of the earthenware jug, the edge of the table, and the artist’s signature break up the sea of
yellow hues that otherwise dominate the painting. On the bottom right of the arrangement, a lone sunflower droops downward, the weight of the
bud too heavy for its weakened stem. The bouquet of sunflowers appears even more brilliant in contrast with theturquoise color of the background.

The second picture is in the rthms of tango by Leonid Aframow. It*s an oil painting painted in an mpressionism style. To my mind. It is an
outstanding and impressive painting which shows dance which is the expression of our emotions through our body. In the centre we can see The
girl wears a red dress and is painted amongst bright strokes of fiery colors. She nearly blends in with the background which makes us wonder if she
is human at all. This painting painted with botl colours. This picture is dramatic and atmospheric, a painting creates a special mood- such as a
feeling of romance and mystery. At first glance it looks very bright . but then I understand that the author invites to consider surface beauty along
with the subjective depth. Well, it seems to me that I could not put into words the impression made on me by these paintings.

Describe a city/town that you like to visit. Please say:

The world is filled with numerous places to visitș I have visited several cities before, and they were all amazing in their own rights. However, there
was one city which, I think, should be specifically mentioned here because I was not too sure about visiting it until the last moment. The name of
this city is “Singapore”.  I had high hopes to this city.

For me, Singapore is well worth visiting for many reasons. Firstly, the public transport system in Singapore is extremely reliable. People don’t have to
spend hours waiting for buses or trains, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Another thing that I miss about Singapore is its multi-cultural
nature. During the 5 days that I spent in Singapore, I bumped into people from many different countries. English is the first language of this country
so it was great to get the chance to practice my English-speaking skills with the local people and also other tourists.

Actually, I got to know about this city from One of my friends who is living there since 2015. When he came back to Ukraine for the first time I was
really curious to know about this city Then he told all about Singapore starting from the weather to the opportunities that this city provides.

When I arrived in Singapore, I was quite impressed by the way the city looked. The streets were incredibly clean, I could walk around the city all day
and come back home without any dirt on my shoes. During my stay in Singapore, I did some shopping and visited some famous landmarks like the
Merlion statue, Singapore zoo and the botanical gardens. This place lived up my expectation.

Talk about an old building that you have visited recently, please say:
 .
I have visited National Opera and Ballet Theater recently. It is one of the five best theater buildings in the world. Moreover,it is considered to be the
oldest opera house in Ukraine. This building is located in the center of Odessa, Tchaikovsky Lane 1.The modern building was built in 1887 by
architects Fellner and Helmer in the style of the new Viennese Baroque. The interior of the auditorium is stylized in late French Rococo
architecture. The building consists of three floors, decorated with columns and has a spherical roof. The hall is designed for 1164 seats. It also has a
variety of stucco ornaments, lamps, chandeliers and ornaments of bronze inlays of furniture. In the center of the ceiling is a large crystal
chandelier. The theater has a young creative troupe and a modern updated repertoire, which includes more than 80 performances.I like to visit this
place, because there is a real center of culture. I enjoy watching the acting, their costumes and the performance. In addition, I adore the interior of
the theater .It does not need to be knocked down or renovated, because the entire restoration of the theater building was completed in 2007.
Talk about a place in your town you like most, you should say:
Today, Im going to share with you an interesting public place where I really enjoy going to hang out with my close friends in my spare time, which is
a lovely café named Pancake. It is situated at a small quiet lane near Pedagogical university in the centre of my hometown.  Once you are on
Zamostynska street, go straight, past the bank. Take the second left and continue going straight. It's across the street from rough Jack's Bar, which
hideous and should be knock down. Go straight you will see the Madam statue pass it and turn left Just follow stunning high- rise Museum Drive
and the café is at the end of the road.

The coffee house is decorated in an old, traditional French style, with a lot of paintings on the wall, and it attracts a lot of foreign customers I often
go there as a hideaway to escape from all the pressures and order a cup of coffee to relieve my stress. It always works wonders. I find it extremely
therapeutic and soothing. Therefore, it’s more than likely that I will still keep coming back to it as my favourite place in the near future.
I usually visit the place twice a week with my friends to hang out and chill, but love to visit the place alone. The last time I visited Pancake was a
month ago, before the Lock Down, The fast food tastes quite savoury and especially the coffee in X is always irresistibly delicious. What I really love
is how cozy the atmosphere is, something which I have not found in any other coffee shop yet.

2.4 Talk about a cultural festival which people are celebrating in your country, please say:
I want to talk about the festival I think is celebrated the most in my country. It is called Holi, and it usually takes place sometime in June. Holi is a
festival that is meant to welcome summer. It is also meant as a sign to start fresh and a time where people can just let loose and have fun.

Seriously, that’s one hard question to answer, like I said earlier, each country has its own unique festival and its people have their distinct way to
celebrate it. Well, I’m not sure how to answer that question, however, the main difference which I can only assume is that festivals these days are
more commercialized than those in the past. What I mean by that is business people, take advantage of the festivals and come up with their
marketing strategy to sell their products or services during the celebration of a particular festival. That kind of strategy is mainstream these days
and it has become the new culture which I believe was not commonly practiced in the past.

Anyway, on this day, most communities across the country host "organized celebrations" by holding outdoor public events, such as parades,
carnivals, festivals, barbecues, air and maritime shows, fireworks, and free musical concerts. However, it is also worth mentioning that there is no
standard mode of celebration Holi Day, and the locus of the celebrations is the national capital, Kyiv, where large concerts and cultural displays are
held on ythe Hill in an event largely referred to as the "Noon Show.Lots of people dresse up in all kinds of costumes and they wear the mask as well.
All through the carnival though it is transformed as they have big fireworks display, bonfires and all the kids throw confetti. The food is delicious, but
high in calories,People also set off fireworks all the time, which can give you a real shock.

Well, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer to the question What the difference between your place’s festival and abroad since each country has its own
traditional festivals and its people celebrate their festivals in a unique way. First of all, each country declares a national or local holiday when they
celebrate their own traditional festivals so that its citizens can take part in the said festival in a more meaningful way. During the celebration, people
prepare some special dishes, spend time with their loved ones, and definitely have fun.

Talk about the recent changes in your hometown.

I live in the village ofMali Krushlyntsi. It is located near Vinnytsia.
Many changes have taken place in my village over the last 4 years.Actually, the central and entrance parts of my village have been significantly
renovated. For example,a school was built in my area in 2018. It consists of two floors with long window panels. The school is large and equipped
with new technologies. Now it is a lyceum. It is located at the street Korolyova 14.In addition, there was built a kindergarten next to the school in
2019.In front of it there is a small playground.A large hotel and restaurant complex are being built at the moment. This complex consists of 16
hotels and 2 restaurants. It is vital to note that this complex occupies the entire meadow along the river .A collective farm used to be once before it
there. I am proud of these changes in my area. I like that it is evolving. So to speak ,my village became a more comfortable place to live.In my area,
shops and factories mostly dominate
Anyway, I feel really good about these changes and activities because they will evidently give a new and better look to our village.
