Experiment no. 1

Aim – to perform stair case wiring by using two way switches.

Apparatus required-

2 Electric lamp 1

3 Lamp holder 1

4 Electric wire Single core 1.5mm

Procedure:

1. make line circuit diagram and get it check

2. Keep all the material ready

3. Cut wire into piece as per requirement

4. Remove the covers of switches and holders

5. Make the connection as per circuit diagram

6. Give the supply switch on the circuit and observe the lamp

Condition:1

If the supply is given to the circuit when both the two switches keep on the bulb will glow
and when both the switches are off then the bulb will glow and in other case the bulb will
not glow.

Condition 2:
In case 2 when both the switches is on the bulb will not glow also when both switches is off
then the bulb will not glow And other cases when one of the switches is on the bulb will
glow.
