What is Brass Electro Plating

Brass electroplating is a process where a metal is applied to an item by immersing it in an

electrolytic bath that contains metal salts. A direct electrical current (DC) is passed through the
solution using a +ve anode and a -ve cathode. The negative diode is made up of the item to be
brass-plated. The current means the metal ions are deposited onto the cathode forming a brass-
metal coating on the item. The coating then forms part of the original workpiece.
