RING OG LIFE: To help needy in probable cause
The Ring of Life is an initiative of Riphah
International University and this project was aimed
at inculcating the sense of responsibility, sharing and
charity among the students in accordance with
Islamic teachings.

Allazeena yunfiqoona fissarraaa’i waddarraaa’i

Who spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease

and hardship and who restrain anger and who
pardon the people – and Allah loves the doers of
good.

Sir. Abdur Rehman Yousafi was the main

inspiration and driving force in encouraging and
motivating students of BSCS 3-2 Islamic Studies in
this noble cause. Due to COVID, no collective
function can be organized but this noble cause knows
no boundaries and was carried out at Civil hospital
rawalpindi and detail of the charitable works is as
under.
Medicine’s
 Medicine was distributed among needy
and deserving patients in Civil Hospital
Rawalpindi.
 A person was provided with different
medicine prescribed by doctor.
 Many other needy patients were also
supported and assisted in paying their
medication bills.

Cash
 A needy family was assisted with some
money to hold their financial support.
 With no source of income and a son with
broken back this old man was given some
Amount to have a living.

Objectives of the Project:
 To help needy people and to make them feel that they are a part of
this society especially during COVID-19.
 To instill the sense of responsibility, charity and sharing among
Riphah students towards community development.
Achievements:
 The sense of self-actualization and satisfaction among students
after fulfilling need of a needy.
 The Students come to know about under privileged areas and needy
people around them and got motivated to continue doing such
projects irrespective of project that is a service to community
provided by Riphah.
