Dear Trainee,

Greetings!

It is very unusual to have an ONLINE practicum training program due to the threat brought by the
COVID-19 pandemic, the movement of people due to the possible exposure to the infected COVID-19
individuals, it is quite challenging, but we need to be resourceful and creative in our own ways. The
COVID-19 should never stop us from learning technical skills and enhancing our knowledge about
working in the hospitality industry.

Through TSU Hotel Online Internship Program, we can be trained even you are at home. That is why
hotel is considered as “ A home away from home” therefore we will make use of your home as our
online hotel.

The internship program will be discuss to you on the 2 nd week February for the mean time please do
your assignments and submit it on time.

1. Below are my expectations for this subject:

First, I expect this subject to be informative to the point that I would learn new things that
are equivalent to what I would learn in a face-to-face OJT.
Second, I expect that this subject would also teach us to utilize the skills that we already
have and hone them for our careers.
Lastly, I expect to learn more about the working setting in the hospitality industry, so I am
hoping to learn more about those in this subject.
