difficulty in connecting the
hilly terrains. Therefore
roadways should be used
to travel to hilly terrain.
It is the fastest mode of
transportation compared to
roadways.Some special
trains are there which
makes the journey even
faster such as super fast
trains, bullet trains..etc.

Basis Railways

except airways. Thus, it is
the best choice for long
distance traffic.
Safety Railway is the safest form
of transport. The chances
of accidents and
breakdowns of railways are
minimum as compared to
other modes of transport.
Moreover the traffic can be
protected from the
exposure to sun, rains,
snow etc.

It is a slow means of

making navigation difficult.

risky as compared to other
means because there is
always danger of sinking
ships or boats.
The transport channel is
quite cheap as compared rail
and road transport.
It uses waterways which
are natural high- ways and
hence there is no cost
involved. However, there is
high cost involved for
construction of ships and
ports.
