How Different Types of Water: Direct Your Stone Medicine Elixirs
Types of Water
DIRECT YOUR STONE MEDICINE ELIXIRS
spring water ( + )
Natural spring water is moving, bubbling with life, and directly connected to Mother Earth.
It’s generally tonifying (+) - building and strengthening and moving - creates change, movement,
and can be catalyzing.
Spring water is often full of minerals and monatomic elements. Minerals are building blocks and
touch the essence (deep) level of living things.
Monatomics will be present especially if you gather spring water directly from nature and make
your elixir at the moment of gathering. They are extremely generative and open up some miracle
gateways in your elixir.

distilled water ( - )
This is essentially water that has been heated, evaporated, and then condensed back down to
water. What a journey! In the process, contaminants and minerals are mostly removed.
It’s generally sedating (-) - reduces, quiets, removes, calms and purifying - cleanses, clears,
removes, subtracts.
Distilled water can be purchased at the store or easily made at home. Make elixirs from distilled
water when your intention is to reduce, vaporize, evaporate or clear something.
Consider it for elixirs for purification, removal of entities or detrimental energy, or creating alchemy
for reduction or removal.
Distilled water is great for elixirs made with intentions to clear toxins, shrink or reduce a mass or
growth, vaporize deep-level qi like ancestral, karmic or genetic density, or simply calm and begin to
gently release a physical or emotional bind.
rain water
You can collect rain water by placing a container outside in the rain. This water has active,
alchemizing and often cleansing properties. It’s coming ‘down from Heaven’ so there’s an
association with Grace, destiny and fate. It’s powerful for sparking new beginnings.
snow water
You can also collect snow and allow it to melt. Snow has depth, mystery, and an ability to create an
extraordinary state of stillness, calm and silence within. It has a special gift for reaching the kidneys
and places of fear. Like rain, it is associated with Grace. It can provide deep and profound peace.

dew
Dew can be collected in the morning from plants and grasses. It forms when temperatures drop
and objects like grass or leaves release their heat. As they cool, the water vapor condenses around
them. This happens overnight. Dew water, therefore resonates with cooling
formulas - elixirs that are made to allow something to release their heat
and cool down. It also resonates with formulas made to assist
with conditions that get worse at night, like night sweats or
childhood fear. Because this water is cooled through
magnetizing and condensing surrounding water vapor, it also
works beautifully with formulas created to create attraction or
condensing qi and energy.

There are many other types of water.
Attune to the water’s story to intuit more about other types. Water from sacred locations has
specific properties. To learn more about a type of water consider its
• origin (birth story)
• your own resonance with it (or the person you’re making the formula for)
• the action it’s taking as you interact with it
extremely important
Unfortunately, at the moment, most of us live in a pretty toxic world. There are many chemicals
and toxins in the water cycle and in the air. Please be extremely careful when collecting water from
nature.
Our tap water, depending on where you live, has a certain amount of chemicals, toxins, heavy
metals and even pharmaceuticals in it.
Working with clean water is the most important thing. My hope is that this guide sparks your
contemplations about how to find the cleanest water available to you. You might search online for
clean natural springs near you, purchase a water purifier, or learn to distill water at home. Become
a Diviner and magician of pure water. Your elixirs will glow with the sincerity of your efforts.
