Recently we hear a lot of children get the advantage of social networking sites but we often see the

parents worry about what their kids do in front of the computer; whether they are doing homework or
even just playing games. Or spending all time to surf the Internet which is the materials do not fit with

The following text is for questions 37 to 39

A thunderstorm, also known as an electrical storm, a lightning storm, thundershower or simply a storm,
is a form of turbulent weather characterized by the presence of lightning and its acoustic effect on the
Earth's atmosphere known as thunder. The meteorologically assigned cloud type associated with the
thunderstorm is the cumulonimbus. Thunderstorms are usually accompanied by strong winds, heavy
rain and sometimes snow, sleet, hail, or no precipitation at all. Those that cause hail to fall are called
hailstorms. Thunderstorms may line up in a series or rainband, known as a squall line. Strong or severe
thunderstorms may rotate, known as supercells. While most thunderstorms move with the mean wind
flow through the layer of the troposphere that they occupy, vertical wind shear causes a deviation in
their course at a right angle to the wind shear direction.
Thunderstorms result from the rapid upward movement of warm, moist air. They can occur inside
warm, moist air masses and at fronts. As the warm, moist air moves upward, it cools, condenses, and
forms cumulonimbus clouds that can reach heights of over 20 km (12.45 miles). As the rising air
reaches its dew point, water droplets and ice form and begin falling the long distance through the
clouds towards the Earth's surface. As the droplets fall, they collide with other droplets and become
larger. The falling droplets create a downdraft of air that spreads out at the Earth's surface and causes
strong winds associated commonly with thunderstorms.

The following text is for questions 41 to 42.

School uniforms are dress codes that are determined by the teaching institutions. Students have to
follow the designed code obediently everyday. Many people believe that school uniforms should be
applied but the others don't.
Uniforms have various advantages for both the family and the child. A unified school apparel can
relieve a financial stress of many families. As kids tend to compete and imitate each other, the race of
following new trends in fashion or, providing different attire for every school day is considered a
financial burden, not every family can afford it.
Additionally, a uniform creates a sense of equality between all pupils. Young kids tend to judge
others according to their look and what they wear. Uniting their school attire will draw their attention
to other criteria and, the only advantage of one student over another would be personality, academic
achievement or being good at sports.
On the other hand, as repetition can lead to boredom, children can get frustrated of wearing the
same thing to school every day. Also, it takes away their right to choose what to wear.
In conclusion, I believe uniforms aren’t meant to suppress the creativity or freedom of children. It
helps redirecting kids’ creativity towards more important things than outer look, and alleviate financial
burden of their families.

The Steven Spielberg movie of the Orson Welles radio play of the H.G. Wells book—a content
reuse trifecta. Or just think of this as "Close Encounters: This Time They're Quite Upset." Tom
Cruise is the slightly irresponsible (but oh-so charming) divorced father of two, including the kid
actor who makes Shirley Temple look like a dullard, Dakota Fanning (see Man on Fire with Denzel
Washington for her breakthrough performance). The death rays hit the fan in Tom's New Jersey,
and apparently salvation is to be found in Boston, where Mom lives, so off we go, encountering the
entire range of humanity and inhumanity along the way. The movie is really about how people
respond to extreme stress—some folks, like tennis hustler Bobby Riggs, just got better as the stress
grew (until Billie Jean King), and many lose it.
The tension builds pretty continuously for the first two thirds of the movie--just as you think the
nightmare is ending, something else happens to raise the tension. The aliens are nicely menacing
(no ET here) and there's no time wasted on their motivation. The family dynamics get a little
wearisome, but in all, a great summer entertainment.

43. The text is mainly about ….

A. Heroic salvation
B. Life of some actors
C. A review of a movie
D. Tension and success
E. Description of some states

44. The writer thinks that the film ….

A. is lack of tension
B. is wonderful to see
C. displays nice aliens
