If you travel to Seattle there’s one landmark you’re sure to notice right away. Standing tall
against the backdrop of the city skyline, you’ll spot a thing that looks a bit like tower crossed
winth an unidentified flying object (UFO). What are we talking about? The space Needle, of
course!
In 1962, Seattle hosted the World’s Fair, which focused on what life migth be like in the 21 st
century. The city wanted an iconic landmark to be built for the World’s Fair that would represent
its futuristic vision.
Inspired by the Stuttgart Tower in Germany, Edward E. Carlson sketched an initial drawing that
featured a structure that resembled a tethered balloon. Over several years and with input from
others, incluiding architect John Graham, Carlson design morphed into the familiar flying saucer
shape we know today.
Today the space Needle stands 605 feet tall and is 138 feet wide. Weighing 9,550 tons, the
structure can withstand winds of up 200 miles per hour, as well as erathquakes of up to 9.1
magnitude. The top of the Space Needle also features 25 lightning strikes the structure receives
each day. Many visitors enjoy the 41-second lift ride to the observation deck at 520 feet

Gold has become a precious metal to mankind since it was the dawn of civilization.
The nature of gold is soft and malleable which people can easily make and change to
any forms. It can be done just by using a simple technology. The beautiful golden
and shiny color does not easily fade out. The form of gold can be as jewelry, bar, or
coin. Nowadays, gold coin, such as gold IRA, becomes an advantageous investment.
Gold is safe and profitable for investment. In uncertain situations, many people are
turning to gold because gold has a more stable value and regarded as currency
without assets limitation. It is secure and can be cashed out at any time we need. The
Gold values tend to be stable; take a look an IRA gold discussion. It is zero inflation
effect. It is very rare that the gold prices fall. Even every year, the gold price tends
to increase.
Investments in the form of coins, it is famous as gold coin, is more profitable if it is
compared with the investment of gold in the form of jewelry. Gold coin, for
example gold 401k which some people call 401k gold, is very good when it is used
as an alternative investment, whether it is for the medium-term investment or long-
term investment. Besides, gold coins need less cost in production and manufacturing
so it is more lucrative than investing gold in the form of jewelry.
Moreover, some people do not just think gold as an investment, but also as
collections. Since it is used as a collection, the uniqueness and rareness are the point.
There might be coins that cost up to more than a million because of the history
variables, ownership, and perhaps an important event when the coin is launched.
From the reason above, if we decide to make an investment, it could be useful
to consider investing gold.

The Jakarta – based Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) hopes the upcoming
meeting between the Indonesian government and a United Nations committee on migrant
workers will provide momentum for the country to revise its regulations on the protection
of migrant worker’s rights.
DOKUMEN NEGARA

HRWG program manager Daniel Awigra said that the committee may push countries,
including Indonesia, to align their laws with universal standards, as cited in the
International Convention o the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and
Members of Their Families.
“In our report submitted to the committee, we urge the committee to recommend that the
government [heed] the convention in the revision of the 2004 Law on the Protection of
Indonesian Migrant Workers,” Daniel said in a statement on Thursday.
He added that the revision had been deliberated at the House of Representatives. The
latest draft, however, still favored private recruitment agencies and lacked tight standards
in the recruitment process, he said.
The UN Committee will hold a dialogue for the first time with Indonesia on September 4
to 6 in Geneva, Switzerland, regarding the government’s progress in implementing the
multilateral convention on migrant worker protection. In April, Indonesia sent an initial
report to the committee as requirement for countries that have ratified the convention.

Dear Sabrina,
Please let me express my deepest sympathies to you and your younger brother
and sisters. I was shocked and shattered when I heard about Frank’s horrific accident. I
can't even imagine what you have been going through for the past ten days.
As you know, your brother and I have been colleagues and friends for the past
eight years. His tragic loss leaves a terrible void in our office. He was so well-liked and
respected by everyone who came into contact with him, both colleagues and clients alike.
He had tremendous people skills, and as such, was a role model in our company and the
industry at large.
I trust that, when they are older, your younger siblings will be made aware of
what an outstanding person Frank was in his professional life.
Sabrina, please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way while you go
through this very difficult period. I will support you in any way that I can should you
reach out to me.
Also, please tell your siblings how terribly devastated all of us are here at the
company due to their lovely brother's tragic passing.
Sincere sympathy,
Darlene Francis

.Here is my unforgettable experience. One day I joined a story telling contest. Two of my friends and I
had been chosen to take a part in the final round at the district level. I was very happy and eager to win
the competition.
For preparation, I had to memorize and understand the story well. My teacher guided and taught me
pronunciation, facial expression and gestures. One day, before performing, my friends and I were busy to
prepare the props and costumes for the competition. Thing that made me sad was my teacher rented the
props and costumes for my friends but not for me.
My two friends had beautiful costumes and luxurious props. Although I just wore the simple ones, I
performed my best to win the competition. The competition started. I got number 29 and my friends got
number 5 and 10. I was nervous but I showed my best performance on stage. Lots of people took photos
and videos of me.
Finally, anxiety was gone after I had finished performing. And then, the announcement came which
made three of us very uneasy. Luckily I was chosen as the first winner. I went to the stage and all the
judges congratulated me and gave a plague, trophy, and money. I was very happy.
