Introduction
As pollution takes a toll in our daily lives where trees, plants, and other natural
resources are usually destroyed and contaminated. It is proven that more than 95
percent of world's population breathe polluted dangerous air. Therefore, 95 percent of
the world's population is breathing polluted unsafe air and the hardest hit areas are in
Africa and Asia. Having polluted air and environment exposes the humanity to a
dangerous way of living where breathing and living itself can cause diseases and harm
to our body.
In Philippines, NCR which is claim to be our center city is one of the most polluted
cities in Asia. That’s why “3G organization” aims to solve this problem where it
promotes green movement and sustainable energy for certain cities that are in need of
electricity. As Philippines experience lots of disasters alternative source of electricity
and hunger is one of the greatest issues especially amidst the pandemic and disaster
crisis.
With the ideas of promoting green movement, solving hunger, and sustainable
energy our organization will conduct a study that focuses on the application of
hydroelectricity and planting of consumable goods. This way, for a certain number of
recyclable materials that they donate they can acquire a certain amount of electricity
while, the organization will use these materials to buy plants that produce consumable
goods. In the process of planting and harvesting, the watering of plants will serve as a
power source for the hydropower electricity where in the pressure of water will run the
turbine that is necessary to run the power plant.

In the Philippines, solid waste management remains a big issue, particularly in urban
areas such as Metro Manila. Every day, Metro Manila produces about 10,000 tons of
garbage, with this number anticipated to treble by 2030. One of the main motives of
this project is to encourage our community to participate in the green movement to
address this particular issue, wherein we advocate recycling materials that will be
needed for plants instead of them ending up with improper waste management.

Another motive of our project is to

why this project aims to use

reducing the implementation of

resources that can be used in a
variety of ways.

Experiencing numerous disasters in just one year seems to be normal here in the
Philippines, and it continues to increase as time passes by due to climate change. Due
to this, we tend to experience crises when it comes to the power supply and hunger.
Our project's last main motive is to reach out to the population here in our country
that is known to be vulnerable to certain crises such as the lack of consumable goods
and/or electricity. This will be done by providing them with alternative resources of
food that will be a by-product from our own plants, and electricity, generated through
hydroelectric energy, that would serve as their alternative power supply.

The project is worth sponsoring for it will have a

variety of impacts on our society as a whole, such
as solving air pollution, proper waste management,
clean alternative energy resources, that will
address certain issues that we are experiencing in
any way possible, especially in trying times.

Project Description
Project 3G, which stands for "Gain Green from Grains," aims to lessen the use of
nonrenewable resources by generating hydroelectricity from sustainable energy
sources such as hydropower. Our team will need recyclable materials like plastic
bottles to successfully complete this project. By collecting recyclable items, we are
not only helping to clean up the environment, but we are also helping the community.
We will then sell the accumulated recyclable waste to generate funds to purchase
plants, specifically edible ones such as vegetables. To make this project more
impactful and beneficial to the community, we will employ hydropower to generate
electricity while watering the plants. The pressure of the water will flow through a
turbine, and as soon as the turbine begins to rotate, hydroelectricity will be produced.
This is our plan to pay back everyone who has donated to us by providing them with a
free and secure supply of food and electricity. As long as the community continues to
support Project 3G, we will be motivated to continue serving the environment and
those in need. We intend to create more Project 3G systems in the future and put
them in various regions around the Philippines. As a result, the rate of food and
electricity production will increase, which indicates that our initiative will benefit
more people. We will also continue to do research and testing in order to enhance, or
significantly improve, its productivity by adding more features to it.

Our project will involve money gained through

donations and partnerships. Our project will
require considerable amount of money given
the scale. For our other plans, we plan on
taking a partnership with DOST and DENR, they
can support us with financial backing or with
the project itself. We believe that word of
mouth advertising and our social media
presence would suit our project the best.
Project 3G also offers forums where people
can discuss about topics regarding our
advocacy. We hope that with the forums, more
people get to know or discover our project.
