ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN 5
BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Government buildings are the ultimate yet heaviest source of power, authority, and influence in the
country's nominal progress toward better development, whether at the regional, provincial, municipal, or barangay
levels. The proposed goal is to design a new government building that will serve the public and employees while also
providing inclusive facilities, security, and accessibility.
A municipal hall is classified as institutional; a government structure that serves the same function as
higher government buildings in that its primary purpose is to serve and influence the people, with the goal of
improving, progressing, and developing their range. A government complex that includes a municipal hall and a
sports center must be planned and designed for relocation in order to meet functional programs, elaborate needs,
and influence indoor and outdoor activities. A government complex that could be an investment in a great workplace
that is competitive and viable to continuous productivity and development in meeting tasks and obligations that result
in profess of gains for everyone.
REVIEW OF THE RELATED LITERATURE
The Bacoor government center, also known as the
Bacoor city hall, is a structure that serves as the
Bacoor City Hall in Cavite.
Bacoor City Government is the first capital of
General Emilio Aguinaldo's Revolutionary
Government. The hard-fought Battle of Zapote
Bridge on February 17, 1897 was a historical
landmark in our forefathers' quest for Philippine
independence. Bacoor was given the revolutionary
name "Gargano."
The Bacoor City Government was previously
housed in the old Bacoor Municipal Hall, which could no longer accommodate the needs of the local government
units.
The groundbreaking for a new government center took place on March 2, 2012. This government facility, which has a
floor area of 11,200 square meters (121, 000 square feet), was built on 2 hectares (4.9 acres) of land donated by
Senator Manny Villar and Narcimiano Gawaran of the Addas development corporation. At the time of ground
breaking, the three-story building was also built as a green building, with completion scheduled for 2013.

sustainable and resilient city led by God Centered, responsible and united Bacoorenos
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

I've visited Dasmarinas City Hall several times. According to my observations, the structure's exterior
resembles a typical city hall in the Philippines. The court outside of the city hall is not well maintained, and the bench
is a little disorganized. When I enter the city hall, I am immediately struck by the structures and materials used in its
construction. The majority of the city hall has a hardwood floor.
There is also wood on the walls. You will also notice that the interior of the city hall is not very well maintained, as we
can tell by its appearance that it is quite old. With this firsthand knowledge. I'd like to make a change to the overall
appearance.
