ABSTRACT/SYNOPSES

The fire accidents in tall buildings situated in congested areas in cities


causes huge loss of life as well as of property because appropriate rescue
operations, immediately is not possible due to the non approachability of
fire brigade vehicles and or other rescue instruments.
Due to lack of the sufficient space near the accident place or building it
very hard to position the fire brigade ladder rapidly.
Here we have developed a mechanical ladder which is control by joystick
on three axis having high flexibility to fit in even small places around the
building for rapid rescue.
Here we use worm screw gear arrangement to operate the ladder in 360 axis
and for tilting as well as folding. These mechanism is operate by the drive
motor which is controlled by joystick and all these are assembled on the
rotating platform on four wheel chasis.
