This turning guidance procedure may not be suitable for longer type
aircraft such as B777-300 and B777-300ER. In such cases, pilots
should follow their respective company’s procedures and/or
manufacturer’s guidance. The execution of a turn using company’s
procedures and/or manufacturer’s guidance shall be the
responsibility of the pilot.
Pilots are also reminded that use of the turning pads is mandatory for
aircraft with MTOW in excess of 56,000 kg having to make a 180
degrees turn on the runway. In case of doubts regarding taxi surface,
coordination with ATC for ground support to complete the
operation safely may be required.
