1.A nurse is assisting a mother after she has given birth.
2.The patient underwent a cesarean procedure.
3.Using sterile gloves, The wound dressing is being changed by the nurse to keep the area clean

and moist. Leaving bandages on for too long might stifle healing and promote infection.
4.Sterile gloves should be used during wound dressing to help prevent surgical site infections.
5.The patient is in a comfortable position that provides easy access to the wound area with a bath

blanket to cover exposed area.


6. A sterile pad applied directly to the wound would promote healing and protect it from further

harm.
7.Wound dressings should provide the best circumstances for wound healing while also preventing

the wound from microbial infection and additional stress.


8.To minimize additional injury to the wound surface during dressing changes, it is critical that

the dressings be removed atraumatically.
