Final exam synchronous

Divide you class into 5 groups with group members not less than 8- and not more than 10 team
members.

The synchronous final examination will have three games

The first game is: May the Best Team Win!!

Speed Game: May the best team win!

Roles:

Creating questions: each team member

Leader- To read the question

Scorer- to make sure of taking notes on the score of their team, and other teams

Timer- take note of the time and announce the second when each group were able to answer: example:
group 1- within 5 seconds, group 2- within 3 seconds- group 5- not able to answer.

Encoder- to encode answer in the chat box

Who can answer? Any team members can answer three times for the group, given that all of the group
members were all able to answer either correct or wrong answer.

Procedure:

Using the PDF book for health assessment- Each team shall make at least 20 item quick recall question.

Question must focus on the topics under course guide.

Each team shall be given a chance to read their questions, while their team members take note of the
time. After reading the question the timer will start, any team who were able to answer within 3
seconds shall earn 2-3 points, the team who were able to answer within 4-5 seconds earns 2 points and
the team who were able to answer within 6-10 seconds earns 1 point.

The game is a speed game and shall only last for thirty minutes. After thirty minutes team with same
score will have a tie breaker game. Tie breaker game has a maximum of 30 minutes with no minimum
tie. If during the tie breaker game, if the teams competing had different scores, regardless of the
number of question, then the winners will be declared.

Scoring:

Team who got half of the total score and below will have an automatic score of 83.

Team who failed to answer any question correctly will have an automatic grade of 60.

3rd prize- 90

4th prize- 87

5th prize- 85

In the event that there are tie- among the groups an automatic score of 87 shall be given to them.

Team or student who failed to participate shall be given a failing grade of 60 unless otherwise a valid
reason is given with medical certificate or other valid certificate (death certificate, marriage certificate)
are provided which coincides with the date of the exam.

Excused student shall automatically be qualified to take an individual synchronous plus asynchronous
examination when they are available.

Note: be ready at all times, due to poor internet connectivity, some of your team members may be
disconnected from the google meet and every group member needs to be ready to take on their role.

Next game:

Critical Thinking Game: ISBAR referral to a doctor.

A case shall be flashed in the screen, everyone is given 15 minutes to write ISBAR. After 15 minutes, all
of the group members shall read their answer.

Note: Not all of the cases to be flashed on the screen is for referral. Students should discern if they shall
write, “No Immediate concern to be referred to the physician” or write an actual ISBAR.

The score will be announced by the instructor after each case.

5 cases will be given

For every correct parts of ISBAR- 4 points shall be given, a total of 20 points for the whole ISBAR

Who can answer: Every team member will be given 1 chance to answer for this portion

Pictures/words shall be flashed in the screen with a corresponding question. This is an all or none
response.

The representative of the group should be able to answer everything that is asked in the question.
Example: a laboratory result is flashed on the screen, list all of the normal findings or abnormal findings.

or, series of subjective and objective signs and symptom, list all of the abnormal symptoms.

A group member is only given 2 chance to answer in this round.

This game has a maximum of 30 mins to play.

Scoring:

Team who got half of the total score and below will have an automatic score of 83.

Note: Every group member are required to answer in any round, failure of a group member to answer
shall cause a 5 demerit to the group.
