Module 2 Lesson 1
Post Task

3 things you’ve learned

What I have learned throughout the discussion is that if we have faith, with God, nothing shall be
impossible. At some point in my life, I have chalked out my own plans, but what I realized is that it does
not necessarily mean that things are going to happen according to my own will. But rather, there are no
one who could decide my destiny but Him alone. Whether we agree to it or not, things are supposed to
happen only according to Him. To put emphasis, nothing is impossible with God. He is the one who is
going to help us out in all that we do. He is going to help us and guide us only when we have enough
trust upon him.

Furthermore, it also made me realized that being spiritual is not the same as being religious. Religion
is a specific set of organized beliefs and practices, usually shared by a community or group while
Spirituality is more of our individual practice and has to do with having a sense of peace and purpose.
Being spiritual is more on within ourselves, which is associated with our Faith, Hope, and Love. In the
presence of our loving God, we can find and discover these three things that could bring us closer to God.
Also, if we make Him the center of our lives, we can find salvation and redemption from our sins. By
contemplating and reflecting from our mistakes, humbling ourselves before Him and asks for forgiveness
could be the beginning of restored relationship and continued growth of our faith with Him.

Lastly, regardless of how strong our Faith, Hope, and Love is, God is teaching us that we still have
to go through different challenges in life to become a better and stronger individual. Hard times
stimulate our growth in a way that good times cannot. Facing life’s challenges and navigating through
them builds our capability to become resilient. We can find certainty and peace with God, knowing that
we can overcome any obstacles, learn from the struggles and benefit from mistakes lays a solid
foundation for success in later life.

2 things that challenge you

There are several things that happened to my family this past few months that almost made me
lost my faith. Two of my family members were infected by the COVID-19 Virus and did their quarantine
and was confined at the hospital for months, which obviously, also affected and struck our family’s
financial income. This situation made me ask God why it has to happen with my own family? I asked
myself how can we deal with this shaking in our life? Our financial crisis almost causes me to stop
pursuing my studies. The anxiety of so many “what ifs” going on my mind really challenged me
emotionally.

1 Complete Action

I realized that no matter how strong our faith is, we will still encounter challenges in our life because
it is God’s way in making us stronger. So, I hold on to His promises that He will not forsake and abandon
us. I surrendered everything to Him and kept praying. I still continue my study even though there are lots
of hindrances, I think I made it a motivation and inspiration to keep moving forward. Eventually, with
God’s guidance and providence, He healed my family and provide and blessed us with everything we
need. Through that situation, I think it made me more empowered and better person. This is one of my
life’s testimonies, that hopefully, I could also share with others to bring inspiration in the future.
