HOW TO BUY PLEORA LICENSE

Introduction
Specim software solutions depend on SDK complying with GigE Vision standard,
when used with GigE versions of Specim FX10 and FX17 cameras. Pleora eBUS SDK
(v4.1.7, 64-bit) provides the required functionality for the software. Unlicensed
Pleora GigE Vision SDK will add Pleora watermark in the image from the camera.
Otherwise the camera functionality will be the same as with the licensed SDK.

There are two types of licenses:

• Dongle license for e.g. R&D and sales demo use cases. The license is in USB
stick and one can transfer the license from a computer to another. This
requires Pleora eBUS SDK v5 or later, which requires LUMO 2020 or later.

• Fixed license for single computer installation. A fixed license file is

bounded to a MAC address in the data acquisition computer and it cannot
be transferred to other computers.

 Find MAC address for a NIC on your data acquisition controller. This may be found
in Device Selection window in Pleora eBUS Player, for example.
Another option is to use command ipconfig /all in the Windows Command Prompt

To buy a license file use your web browser to visit the Pleora Technologies web site
at the following address:

1. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the link RX licenses in the license
type list.

2. Click Add to cart button of the GEV-Rx License File (990-1000) item.
3. Click Cart icon on the top of the page

button.

 Check your email
There should be an email received from address info@pleora.com soon in your in-
box. Open the email and click the link with title Link to purchased licenses in
the email.

Create license file

1. Enter MAC to bound the license

2. Click Add button to include license in the license file
3. Click Generate New License File button
4. Click Download button to get the created license file

Install license file

To activate the downloaded license, copy it to Pleora licensing folder. Here is the
default location for the folder.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Pleora Technologies Inc\eBUS SDK\Licenses
