1. Obtain work permit form authorized person.

2. Switch off the main breaker and lock out for safety reason.

3. Verify power supply is totally off by using a multimeter.

Write down the details of the motor from the nameplate

Disconnect the cables at the terminal block and pull out the

Check the KW ratings, Voltage and frequency of the ventilation

fan motor (new motor to be replaced) as per the datasheet.
When the new motor is installed, rewire the connection at the

terminal block according to original connection
Make sure that there is no exposed cable that is dangling out of

cable gland and make sure the wiring is done in proper way
Verify the cable continuity test / Megger between the motor and

control panel prior to power up the unit
Verify the cable ends (Lugs) are used at the cable termination

Verify the tightness of the cable termination by random wire pull

Turn ON/OFF Ventilation fan motors MCB/MPCB for checking
