Ionic wetting and dispersing agent. Suitable
for inorganic pigment, such as TiO2, matting Density at 20 °C 1.01 – 1.03 g/cm3
agents, transparent Iron Oxide and filler.
Acid value 45 - 55 mg KOH/g
Product Properties
AFCONA-5052 results in: Flash Point 42°C

specification can be change according to
production value.
Note: AFCONA – 5052 will become slightly
hazy at temperatures 5° C. This will not Addition and dosage
influence the quality and do not need re- Calculation method for the required amount of
heating. active ingredient on pigment:

Transparent iron Oxides : 10 – 20%

TiO2 : 2 - 3%
Other inorganic pigments : 2 - 4%
Matting agent : 5 – 10%

Incorporation
AFCONA-5052 should be incorporated in the
mill base before adding the pigments

Storage
AFCONA-5052 should be stored in a cool dry
place. When kept in an original unopened
container, it will keep up to 5 years from the
date of manufacture. The expiry date is
indicated on the container.

Packaging
25 kg and 180 kg non-returnable containers
