Personal Statement

I have always had plans to make a difference in my life instead of just making a living. I

have always had these fascinating thoughts about how the human brain works and understand the

differences in how people react to different situations. One outstanding achievement I have ever

made is attaining my degree. I have a Bachelor's degree in Science in Health Psychology and a

Master's Degree in Science in Developmental Psychology, as well as being a board-certified

behavior analyst. I graduated from the University Of Medical Sciences Of Cuba and, I also

completed the Master's Training Program in ABA Intervention in Autism and Other

Developmental Disorders in ABA Spain. Later I became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst

here in the United States.

Each time I tried achieving my goals and dreams, I have always been very persistent, and

it is because of my efforts, I've made it this far. In that regard, my short term objective would be

to pass all the necessary classes, and long-term would be to complete the requirements to become

a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I've always been very passionate about studying. Currently,

I am interested in continuing with study at Albizu University to attain my license in Mental

Health Counseling. I am primarily drawn to the program at Albizu University because of its

excellent reputation in teaching this particular course and its modules, which I believe are

relevant in attaining my objectives.

My undergraduate combinations will offer me a firm foundation I yearn for in shaping

my future interests in research. I believe that Albizu University is a premier institution with

qualified tutors to attain my license in Mental Health Counseling. As such, it is a very

competitive and demanding program. I know and believe I have all the essential tools and the
ambition and determination to excel exponentially in such a stimulating and challenging

educational environment.
