Exercise #1

Directions: Rewrite the sentences using Passive voice.

1.Matus saved three cats. Three cats were saved by Matus.

2.Orlando crashed his car. The/His car was crashed by Orlando

3.Brenda wrote a love letter. The love letter was written by Brenda.

4.Zoe learned a new song. A new song was learned by Zoe.

5.David has lost the keys. The keys had lost by David.

6.The mechanic repaired the car. The car was repaired by the mechanic.

7.They play football in that school. The football is played in that school by then.

8.Bernardo put the book on the floor. The book was put on the floor by Bernardo.

9.The boys had lost the match. The match had lost by the boys.

10.I am not going to open the door. The door is not going to opened by me.

Exercise #2

Directions: Write 5 sentences on your own using the passive voice. One sentence in present, one
in past, one in future, one with present perfect and the last one in a question form.

1.- The book was written by Aly

2.- A book is given to Andy by Jair

3.- A car bought been to Martha by Uriel

4.- Dodo´s will be hunted

5.- Was this car made in 2021?

Exercise #2

Directions: Watch the video about “life cycle of a plastic bottle” and write all the sentences you
see using “passive voice” ( there are more than 15 sentences ). Then write a 10-line composition
explaining what the video is about.

The video talks about the impact environmental at does junk at sea, says how oils
pollute.
There is a part that I really liked or rather I found interesting in which they talk
about the contamination process of foods of marine origin and that probably we
consume.
Is important keep clean the planet to be able to live in.
