PART B: WRITING (20 MARKS)

Attending a talk and listened to a guest speaker said “It is important to choose a
career based on passion rather than money” has given me something to think off. Both
are equally very important and has it pros and cons. Career with passion will give us
satisfaction, make us productive but it also can effect our health.

Firstly, pursuing a career of your passion will give you satisfaction. Satisfaction of
working on something that is close to your heart and you are good at it. You will do your
very best on the job and dare to spend many hours just to come out with something that
you love and enjoy doing it. Even you faced many difficulties or obstacles; you faced it
with courage, dedication, commitment and determination to see it through. Let’s take a
career as a fashion designer for the example. People cannot do the job as a fashion
designer if they don’t have passion in it. A fashion designer will spend hours in designing a
dress reserved for a model in a fashion show; cares for the material chose and how it will
be presented to the audience .As a conclusion , satisfaction does matter in the career.

Moreover , it brings to the second point that passion in work doing will also make
you more productive. You will put hundred percent of your heart into your career and
thus it will make you expertise in it. You will put extra effort in gaining knowledge and
ideas just to come out with superb outcomes that satisfied you the most. You will really
care for the job you are doing. To sum up, your passion in work will bring better and
better outcomes in the task you are doing and become more productive than before.

Besides, of all your passionate in career, it will also bring you the other way
around. Where you will neglect the most important thing for you that is your health.
When people tend to do something that really passionate for them, they will forget about
themselves. They tend to neglect of their health like forgetting to eat and sleep late. Thus
by choosing a career based on passion it will affects their health.

In conclusion choosing a passion in career will lead to satisfaction and productivity

but it will also effect on the health; mentally and physically. It is really hope that we
choose a career by balancing on our needs and desire because without healthy body and
mind, passion leads to nothing .
