Step 1: Go to site https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/installer/ and click


on the download button beside the second option whose size is
470.2M.

Step 2: This will download a msi file in your system. Click on this msi
file.
Step 3: Such type of pop up will appear and click on yes when the
windows OS ask for permission to install MySQL.
Step 4: Now this window will pop up. Do not make any changes and
click on next.

Step 5: Now as shown in image below a similar window will appear but
first click on the execute button if it shown for you and wait till
installation is going on. After installation is completed you will get the
below displayed screen.
Now click on next.

Step 6: After clicking on next you will get this pop up click on yes.
Step 7: When this window appears click on execute to install and wait
as this might take some time.
Step 8: After everything is installed the below displayed window will
appear and now click on next.

Step 9: Click on next.


Step 10: Do not make any changes and click on next.
Step 11: Now here we enter password for our root account. Please
remember the entered password. In the reference video instructor puts
“root” as password.
After entering password click on add user.
Step 12: Now create a user account for admin. In the reference video
instructor used “admin” as username and “admin” as password. Keep
the other settings same as shown in the image below.
After that click ok. Click next.
Step 13: Do not make any changes and click on next.
Step 14: When this window appears click on execute and wait.
Step 15: After every checkbox is marked with green tick click on Finish.
Step 16: When the below window appears do not make any changes
and click on finish.
Step 17: Again, when below window appears do not make any changes
and click on next.
Step 18: Enter the root account password and click on check.
Step 19: When green tick and connection succeeded message appears
click on next.
Step 20: Click on execute.
Step 21: When the green ticks appear as in the below image then click
on finish.
Step 22: Do not make any changes and click on finish.
Step 23: You have successfully installed MySQL.
