1. Compare and contrast the social impacts of television and social media.

Social media and television have been giving great social impacts on
everyone. Social media and television are both used for entertainment. We often use
social media for entertainment, through it, we can express an idea and share no
matter how far we are from each other, and social media facilitates communication
about our information around the world. So is television, which can provide and
disseminate information around the world. Furthermore, social media and television
are used for the advertisement of products, so that it gives more interest to the
people who watch their product, through this, they can more easily sell the products
they earn. The difference between social media and television is, social media can
reach a large audience, any of us can read the information even if it has nothing to
do with the information we need, on social media you can also change the
information you stated if you wish. Television, on the other hand, has a target
audience for their information and there are limitations in providing information,
here unlike social media television can never simply replace the information you
present, because when you present information on television it can no longer be
replaced.

2. What is your stance on the Cybercrime Law in the Philippines? Talk about it necessity
and beneficiality.
On October 3, 2012, they began implementing a law that became controversial,
which is the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 or better known as Cybercrime Law.
The Republic Act No. 10275 or Cybercrime Law is a law that aims to define and
directly punish the crimes committed through the internet, in order to prevent and
avoid their further spread.
3. What strategies can you use to distinguish between fake and factual information on
the internet?
Fake news is now spreading, especially on the internet. Sometimes, we come
across fake news that many of us believe, which is not good for us. For us to know if
the information we see on the internet is legit or fake. First, check the source, we
should pay attention to check every information in an article or news that we see on
the internet and of course, one source is not enough to prove that this article has
legit information, we should find more source to make sure that this information in
the article we found is factual. We should still perform checking or investigating the
article and when we find out that it is not legit or there is something wrong, it is
better to leave the article or information.

4. In times of crisis like the Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) pandemic and any
other emergencies confronting the global societies, what role has been played by
media in global integration?
In today's world, communication is all that is needed to deal with the
pandemic we are currently experiencing, which is the covid 19. This pandemic has
almost spread around the world and has become a huge problem. the media plays
an important role in disseminating information about the Covid 19 update, covid 19
is a general problem facing our world today. Through the media it can maintain
current events or information about COVID 19 from different countries, and through
it, it reduces the distance and distance from providing and disseminating information
to current news or information of Covid 19 .
