Important Skills That I Can Contribute Towards The Organization
Skills can be defined as certain attributes or abilities that an executive should possess in order to
fulfill specific tasks in an organization. Those skills can be developed through learning and
practical experiences. Now I am going to discuss some of my skills that I believe to contribute
towards the organization.

1. Technical Skills:

I have a good command on MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Almost all jobs nowadays
require some basic understanding of computers and electronics in general. As we move to rely
more on technology to help us conduct our daily tasks, be it communicating, writing, calculating,
presenting, drawing, creating sound, and many others, we are being pushed towards the need to
understand some shortcut keys, circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment and computers.

2. Conceptual Skills:

These involve the skills that present in terms of the knowledge and ability for abstract thinking
and formulating ideas. It is the ability to see an entire concept, analyze and diagnose a problem,
and find creative solutions. As I participate many Business Case and Business Idea generating
competition and won several competition, I have that kind of problem solving and idea generating
ability.

3. Human or Interpersonal Skills:

The human or the interpersonal skills are the skills that present the ability to interact, work or relate
effectively with people. These skills enable the managers to make use of human potential in the
company and motivate the employees for better results. As I engaged with main extra-curriculum
activity during my academic life, I have the ability to present myself positively and professionally
towards other people.

4. Leadership/Management Skills: The ability to manage people is a very powerful skill. It helps
to inspire individuals to do what is right. A leader can guide them along the way, and monitor their
progress in every step. As I organize different program as a Vice-President of a prestigious career
club of my beloved department named Management Communication Club (MCC), I was able to
practice the leadership quality here which will help me to contribute this skill in my job life.
