Guidelines and modalities for various Competitions for the students of Universities/Colleges
and study centers with whom ICSI has signed MoU.

Modalities for Online Quiz Competition, Slogan Writing Competition and Painting Competition

(i) Eligibility Criteria


Students pursuing/completed Graduation or pursuing Post Graduation in any stream are eligible
to participate in the quiz. Only students of Universities/Colleges with whom ICSI has signed
MoU can participate. The students who are registered as students of Institute of Company
Secretaries of India may register themselves through the Chapter of the Institute.
Upper Age limit: 25 years (as on 31st Dec 2021)

(iii) Pattern of the Competition

(a) Slogan Writing Competition – online mode

(i) Topic : “Atmanirbhar Bharat”


(ii) It will be conducted through online mode
(iii) Students interested to participate, will send their entries (soft copy, PDF version)
directly to ICSI –HQ at competition@icsi.edu latest by 31st December,2021.
(iv) They need to mention their name, Date of Birth, address, contact number, email ID
and details of College/University while sending the entries. Without incomplete
details, no entry will be received.
(v) Out of all the entries received, ICSI-HQ will evaluate the entries and will declare 1 st,
2nd& 3rd winners. The name of the winners will be declared on 12 th January2022
during Yuvotsav-2022
(vi) 1st, 2nd& 3rd prize winners will be awarded Trophies & commendation certificates as
mentioned above. In case of Tie in the process of selecting top three students in
final round, the same shall be decided through draw of lots / random selection
methods as may be decided by the Institute.
(vii) The decision of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India and the panel of jury
would be final and binding on the students.
(b) Online Quiz Competition

(I) The modalities of the online quiz will be as follows.

1) The Online Quiz will be conducted on 2ndJanuary 2022. There will be only one round.
2) Eligibility: Students pursuing/completed Graduation or pursuing Post Graduation in any stream
are eligible to participate in the quiz.
3) Commencement of Online Registration – 15th December  2021 at 12.00 pm
4) Last date for Online Registration – 31stDecember 2021  at 5.00 pm. 
5) Date of Competition : 2ndJanuary,2022
6) Existing Students of CS Course are not eligible to participate in the competition
7) Upper Age limit : 25 years (as on 31st Dec 2021)
8) The Online Quiz Competition shall be in MCQ Pattern.
9) Students can participate in the Quiz through Mobiles, Tablets, Laptops and Desktops which
have internet connectivity.
10)Scheduling of batches can be done for conducting of quiz, based on total participants
registered.
11)Syllabus and marks:

(II) Format of
the competition

This quiz will be conducted through an online mode in MCQ Pattern on 2 nd January, 2022. Time
of appearing shall be informed to all students as per the time of their respective batches, by
email & sms. On the date of competition, students may login and appear in the competition as
per their allotted timings. Duration of the competition will be 20 Minutes during which a student
is to attempt 25 questions. The window shall display the Timer during the Test and the same will
automatically close at the end of stipulated time. A student will be allowed to appear only once
in this quiz. There will be no negative marking.

(III) Winners

Top three Students will be selected as winners. In case of Tie in the process of selecting top
three students in final round, the same shall be decided through draw of lots / random
selection methods as may be decided by the Institute.

(c) Painting Competition – online mode

i) Topic : “Portrait of Swami Vivekananda, along with his any famous quote”
ii) It will be conducted through online mode
iii) Students interested to participate, will send their entries (soft copy, PDF version)
directly to ICSI –HQ at competition@icsi.edu latest by 31st December,2021.
iv) They need to mention their name, Date of Birth, address, contact number, email ID
and details of College/University while sending the entries. Without incomplete
details, no entry will be received.
v) Out of all entries received, ICSI-HQ will evaluate the entries and will declare 1 st, 2nd&
3rd winners. The name of the winners will be declared on 12 th January2022 during
Yuvotsav-2022
vi) 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winners will be awarded Trophies & commendation certificates as
mentioned.. In case of Tie in the process of selecting top three students in final
round, the same shall be decided through draw of lots / random selection methods as
may be decided by the Institute.
vii) The Students must declare that the painting is their original art.
(iv)Jury –

An eminent jury comprising of three Academicians/Professionals/Officers of ICSI shall be


constituted to adjudge the participants.

(v)Despatch of Certificates and trophies to the Winners

Top three Students (1st, 2nd& 3rd) will be selected as winners and will be given commendation
certificates and trophies. The name of the winners will be declared on 12th January 2022
during the yuvotsav-2022 during award ceremony. The commendation certificates and trophies will
be given to the winners by the respective Regional/Chapter office  from which the winner belongs to
during the CAP(Career Awareness Programme) to be conducted by concerned Regional/Chapter
office in their respective College/University.

(vii) Miscellaneous
1. The decision of the judges as regards the result of the competition will be the final and binding;
2. The Institute’s decision regarding interpretation of rules or any other matter related to competition
will be final;
3. If there is any situation not contemplated in the rules, the decision of Secretary of ICSI shall be
final.
