Bob and I have known each other since kindergarten. We always had a lot in 1 , like our taste in
music, love for long hiking trips, and a similar sense of humour. Still, we never dated and I thought of him as of
a good friend rather than my future 2 .
When I was in third grade, I had a total 3 on a guy from a neighbouring school. I remember that
when a friend of mine introduced him to me at a party, I just went speechless and couldn’t help 4
at him for the next few hours. It was love at first 5 . We went out for over a year, but then we broke
up 6 to a silly misunderstanding. There was some 7 about him and another girl. We
had a really nasty row. Then it turned out that the girl was just a 8 friend, but he never forgave me
for my lack of trust. I tried to apologise to him, but he remained firm in his decision. I was 9 and
it was Bob who supported me through a difficult time. Time is a great 10 and I finally realised that
the relationship wouldn’t have lasted long anyway, as we were too different and didn’t really match.
And here I am, after many years, with Bob by my side and a(n) 11 ring on my finger. And
although 12 of us is perfect, and there will certainly be some ups and 13 , I know
the 14 we have can’t be compared to any other relationship either of us had.
