DATA ANALYSIS , INTERPRETATION AND PRESENTATION

Analysis and Interpretation:


The above analysis shows that out of 103 respondents 42.7% of respondents came to know
about D mart through family , 36.9% respondents through advertisement ,18.4% through friend
and 2% others.

Analysis and Interpretation:


The above analysis shows that out of 103 respondents 51.5% visit dmart once in a month,31.1%
whenever the need arises , 111.7% visit during special occasions and 5.8% visit once in a week.

The above analysis shows that out of 103 respondents 76.7 % are happy with the location of
Dmart and 11.7% are not . That means most of the Dmart stores are in a good surrounding.

The above analysis shows that out of 103 respondents 69.9% prefer to buy food products
frequently, 23% prefers to buy all of them, 1.9% cosmetics and utensils .

The above data shows that the majority of the respondents see ‘Price’ in a product. 63.1% see
price of product. 21.4% respondents are looking for the durability of a product whether the
duration of time is long or short high for a particular product. 11.7 % see the uniqueness of a
product. Remaining respondents see the style and other qualities of a product.

The above data shows that out of 103 respondents 48.5% of respondents spends 1 hour in dmart
to make a purchase , 26.2% spends 30 minutes , 16.5% spends less than an hour and remaining
respondents spends more than 2 hours.

The above analysis shows that out of 103 respondents , the major respondents don't wait for
offer/ discounts to make a purchase, that means dmart stores are selling products at reasonable
prices, and 48.5% respondents wait for offer/discounts to make a purchase.

As shown in the above figure 94.2% of respondents are satisfied with the services provided by
d'mart and 5.8% are not satisfied out of 103 respondents .

In the above analysis 66% of respondents are happy with lighting,temperature and cleanliness,
11.7% have responded that its fair and 21.4% says its excellent out of 103 respondents so, still
dmart can improve with its ambiance and make it excellent .

The above analysis states that among 100 respondents, 40.8% of respondents selected the option
‘No’ because not the latest products are also available which leads to a negative image in the
customers mind about the latest products. 59.2% respondents selected the option ‘Yes’ , hence
Majority of the respondents are satisfied with products available at D-Mart are trendy and of
latest fashion.

In the above graph , 103 respondents have ranked feature ‘Price’ on scale of 1-5 and majority of
respondents have ranked 4, 20.4% have ranked 5 and 13.6% have ranked 3, hence the price of
products in dmart are satisfied.

of respondents have ranked 4, 15.5% have ranked 5 and 27.2% have ranked 3, hence the price of
products in dmart are satisfied.

The above analysis shows that among 103 respondents, 18.4% of them have selected the option
‘Disagree’ because the display products not properly kept in proper way .40.8% of them have
selected the option ‘Neutral ‘which give more connivance for displaying product and also
lighting environment display products influences the customers to purchases the products 40.8%
of them have selected the option ‘Agree’ Hence the above graph shows that the majority of
respondent are of ‘Neutral’ and ‘Agree’. Opinion with the displays in Dmart influencing their
purchasing decision.

As per the above analysis out of 103 respondents, 11.7% respondents selected the option ‘No’,
because the customer are not experienced the long billing time 39.8% respondents selected the
option ‘Sometimes’, 48.5% respondents selected the option ‘Yes’, because the more number of
customer are visiting to the store. As per the above data, the majority of respondents says ‘Yes’
with the experience of waiting for a long time while billing.

The above analysis shows that among 103 respondents, 12.6% respondents selected the option
“Not satisfied”, because the customer are experienced that the staff are not helping while
purchasing the products, 51.5% respondents selected the option “Good”, 25.2% respondents
selected the option “satisfied”, because the customer are felt staff are helpful while purchasing
the products and also they felt that staff are polite while communicate with customer which leads
to positive image about the store, 10.7% respondents selected the option “Highly satisfied”. The
above graph shows that the majority of respondents are ‘satisfied’ with the staff helpfulness &
friendly behavior.

The above analysis shows that among 103 respondents, 29.1% of them found that the parking
system is not good, because parking is not in front of the store and 70.9% of them found the
parking system “good”. Because the store provides a good parking facility for the customer and
also the place is efficiently available for parking the vehicles. The above diagram shows that the
majority of respondents found the parking system as good.

The above analysis shows that among 103 respondents, 35% respondents selected the option
‘Disagree’, 65% respondents selected the option ‘Agree’, because the customer regularly visits
the store and also the more density crowd will increases positive image about the store will
increase which leads to strong conviction about the store, and hence The above data shows that
the majority of respondents are satisfied with the management of Dmart in accordance with high
crowd density at its store.

The above analysis shows that 91.3% of respondents agree with the tagline ‘Daily
Discounts ,Daily Savings’ and 8.7% of respondents disagree, hence most of the time there are
discounts available at dmart stores.

As per the above analysis, out of 103 respondents, 4.9% of them are not satisfied because the
customer felt that not proper service is available in the store with overall service provided by the
store & 95.1% of them are satisfied with the service provided by the store. which increases the
customers are more loyal to the store and also increases the perception behavior which leads to
the purchase of the products .As per the above data, the majority of respondents are satisfied with
the overall service provided by the store.

The above analysis shows that among 103 respondents, 2.9% of them will not recommend others
to shop at Dmart and 97.1% of them have recommended others to shop at DMART. The above
data shows that the majority of respondents will recommend others to shop at Dmart.
