Take Action On The Problem
● Volunteer and Donate through a shark conservation
organizations – an active organization.
SharkStewards.org to support in saving sharks by
volunteering to their team from any location
● Partner with Seafood Watch organization to choose
sustainable seafood farming methods
● Don’t live near water? Adopt a shark! Partner with
bornfreeusa.org/adopt-a-shark This organization
uses the funds to fight wildlife marketing and
supports efforts to end shark fin trade.
● Get the message out there! Raise awareness of this
issue, sharing content supporting how shark finning
is violent through social media networks. Look up
nonprofit organization campaigning against in shark
fin trading and overfishing.

● Host golf tournament fundraiser “Hit the Pin, Don’t Cut the Fin”
● Partner with restaurants to post stickers and agree to not serve shark fin soup
● Pass out flyers with stickers to ASU students to raise awareness.
● Use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter to promote
awareness for Shark Fin Hunting using Hashtag #Finningisn’twinning
● Advertise on billboard about the truths behind shark finning
● Hold a peaceful protest with signs and shark costumes
