This is my first day at DWFB and I am very excited to meet new people and to learn
new things but at the same time I am nervous because I know that ma’am Cely is very
strict so I’m scared of her.

July 17, 2020

This is my second day but I’m still trying to adopt this new environment but ma’am Cely
already tasked me to report, so, this is my first time to talk live in the program Bayan
Patrol with ma’am Cely and I am very nervous right now, I hope it will go well.

July 20, 2020

Today is Monday and my first task every morning is to report in the program Bayan
Patrol with ma’am Cely and I’m really enjoying it.

July 21, 2020

As usual, reporting is the first thing in the morning. After our program, we went to
Capitol for the KBP Presscon and since Ma’am Cely is the President of KBP, we have
to be there early. During the presscon, I am recording and listening very well so that I
will be able to create news.

It’s getting much exciting as ma’am Cely and Sir Edmar asked me to report twice in the
program and I’m enjoying it.

July 23, 2020

We are not going to have a program today because of the speech of the president so
ma’am Cely tasks me to created news in different languages like Iloko, Tagalog and
English.

As usual, I created news and I will report it first thing in the morning today.

July 28, 2020

In the morning, I reported in the Bayan Patrol program and we attended “Presscon sa
Kapitolyo” headed by the Communcations and Media Office so I will be able to gather
many information for my news.

In the afternoon, we had a program “Rikna ti Umili” with sir Edmar.

We are not going to have a program today so I will just report my news in the program
“Rikna ti Umili” at 3 pm.

July 30, 2020

Today, our anchor will be Sir Edmar as ma’am Cely will not be able to come because
their barangay has been put to lock down.

July 31, 2020

Today is Friday, and the anchor will be sir Ronald because sir Edmar had to go home at
Ilocos Sur so Monica and I will have to report 3 times each to avoid dead air.

August 4, 2020

So this is my last week, and it’s good that ma’am Cely is back so we will have her as the
anchor today.

August 5, 2020

Sir Edmar is not around and sir Ronald is at leave so we are all girls in the station today.
Girl Power!

I have prepared 6 news today for our program in the morning and in the afternoon. I’m
getting used to it!

Awwww, this is my last day but unfortunately we are only 2 in the station today because
some of them are on leave and some are working at home.

June 23, 2020

Today is my first day of OJT so I am very excited to gain lots of knowledge from
professional people.

My first task is organizing things in the Office since it’s very messy because they just
transferred from their original Office because it has become a quarantine facility.

June 24, 2020

Ma’am Yna told me that the Regional Director of PIA will visit here today and I’m so
excited to meet her!

This afternoon, I am going continue sorting files and organizing the office, it’s a bit
exhausting since it’s very hot here.

We are going to buy office supplies and duplicate keys today.

In the afternoon, we will interview with DTI through phone so I’m nervous.

June 26, 2020

Today, ma’am Yna tasked me to conduct interview with the chapter Administrator of
RedCross. It was my first actual face-to-face interview and luckily, it went well.

June 29, 2020

Today is my second week, and I will be arranging and sorting files again, it’s very hard
because it’s very heavy and at the same time very hot in the afternoon here but I still
managed to do my task well.

June 30, 2020

Today is Tuesday so there will be a KBP PressCon at Kapitolyo. OMG ma’am Yna
tasked me to attend the PressCon alone, I don’t even know what to do.

The presscon is done and it went well.

July 1, 2020

We will be airing a program today at DZEA and I will be reporting. This will be my first
time to speak in a radio station, I’m very excited!

July 3, 2020

We have a lot of things to do inside the office so we are not going anywhere today.
Ma’am Yna tasked me to monitor the published articles of PIA and what they have
posted in the Page.
July 6, 2020

In the morning, as usual I organized and cleaned the office. In the afternoon I have
interviewed one beneficiary of Hatid Tulong Program of the government through phone.

July 7, 2020

I attended the KBP Presscon but this time, I’m with ma’am Yna and I was able to ask
questions from the guests.

July 8, 2020

We attended an army’s furom and in there, I found out the huge problem of the country
regarding terrorism.

July 9, 2020

There will be a PressCon again today, I am very happy because I will be able to collect
many information that I can write.

July 10, 2020

I was able to meet and have a conversation with the director of LTO today! Meeting
persons who are in high positions is very satisfying!

July 13, 2020

Today is my last day, I feel like I’m a different person now! I have become more
responsible, patience and more professional! Thanks to ma’am Yna who mentored me
all throughout!
