Synopsis

This project entitled as HOME APPLIANCE MANAGEMENT


SYSTEM is to design and develop application based software for home
appliance shop and also to reduce the discrepancies of the existing system.

This project is developed using VB.NET (VISUAL BASIC .Net) as


front end and Ms Access as back end tool. All the details can easily store in the
database and it can access whenever necessary. The report generation is one of
the important feature in this home appliance store application. All the reports
can able to view and also it can able to save in document format and also in
portable document format

is easy to use. The details stored in database are more secured no data loss. This
application is user interactive. Sales information and stock information are
stored separately. The maintenance of this application is not needed because it
is secured by the application itself.

Login master module


This Login module allows the user to enter into the
application with provided user name and password with password encrypted
decrypted security system format.

Stock master module


This Stock module allows the user to store the details
such as product id, description, Product Purchase date, product barcode, and
quantity.

Billing master module


This Billing module allows the user to create a new bill for
customer.

Reporting master module


All reports are generated by this module, such as stock
report, invoices report, customer reports.

User Registration details module


This module allows the user to enter the details such
as User Id, User Address, User Contact Number, User Password, Designation,
User status
Stock maintenance module
This module allows the user to enter the details such as
Product id, Product
Name, Product buy date, Product description, Stock available, Selling’s
rate, and Product barcode.

Contact details module


This module allows the user to enter the details such as
Company Name, Company Address, TIN Number, VAT Number, Contact
number.

Invoice module
To generate new invoice for customer who buy products from our
company, this module contains Invoice number, Order Id, Invoice Date,
Product Id, Product Name, Product rate, Quantity, Total Amount, Change
Amount.

Invoice Slip Printing module


This module allows the user to print the generated invoice to the
customer.

2.1 EXISTING SYSTEM

In the existing system the billing alone is maintained in FoxPro. The

employer details, the attendance details, the visitor’s details, the visiting hours

details, appointment details are maintained manually. The study of the existing

system revealed that the system has several drawbacks.


DRAWBACKS

 The existing system has no security measure against logging in

and no checks are made for authorized users.

 The end user has to remember a lot of command to make

efficient use of the system.

 The system does not have any descriptive reports and thus did

not help management in decision-making.

 The sales information per day is unable to find.

 Enormous amount of time is consumed

2.2 PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is been developed to maintain the Stitching show

room information by the dealers to maintain The employer details, the

attendance details, the visitor’s details, the visiting hours details, appointment

details etc.,

BENEFITS

 The user can enter only if the username and the password are

correct.

 The process of planning will be easy since every process is

computerized.

 Time Saving.

 The Sales information per day and per month can be known.

 The details of the all saved information can be viewed.


 The data can be accessed easily whenever needed and so the manual

work can be reduced.
