aCTIVITY:
VAGINAL BIRTH:
1. After a vaginal birth, the patient/
mother's perineum is sore and tender,
and it might take three to six weeks to
heal. ( Under the intense pressure of a
baby's head pushing up against the
vaginal opening during labor)
aCTIVITY:
VAGINAL TEAR:
1. In the first few days after giving birth, the
patient/mother is having a hard time to
urinate and pass bowel movements.
2. Also, The patient/mother is more likely to
having problems controlling gas and bowel
movements (anal incontinence).
3. Recovery may be uncomfortable or
painful, depending on how deep the tear is.
aCTIVITY:
C-section following labor:
1. The patient/mother is experiencong
discomfort after giving birth (depending
on how long she pushed before having a C-
section and whether your baby's head
came near to crowning. )
