EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Description
This project is an Ant Man themed birthday party. This party will be friendly for a boy or a girl
and we will work to accommodate some fun in the party for adults as well. We believe in a
happy child and want to plan the best party around the theme that has been chosen. We will be
incorporating games for the children and the adults as well as a water activity for the kids when
they decide they want to get wet.

Reasoning
Choosing a project that was based on planning a child’s birthday party was something that stuck
out to the group very early on. We decided that this would bene cial for us because there are
many different elements that need to come together to plan a birthday party. There are activities
that need to be completed by outside vendors as well as people within the group who have items
that need to be completed. This project will be able to show multiple activities happening at one
time.

PROJECT SUMMARY
Objectives
• Communicate directly with each other in the discussion board incorporating each individual idea into the project.
• Team will respond with feedback in the discussion board area and everyone will take constructive criticism and
make adjustments to their nal product.
• Team will have enough examples in each section to receive no less than an 80% on our rst project together as
a group.
• Team will have all steps of this project completed with all adjustments made by 8:00PM PST, this will allow for
any last-minute changes before submitting the nal project plan.

Project Scope

Food Trucks will be delivered the day before guests arrive. The food truck companies will provide someone to
work each food truck. We have plenty of food options for people to chose from but do not have any direct options
for gluten free/dairy free people or people with other food allergies.
The Cake will be stored and frozen prior to guests arriving the day of. We are not providing allergy free options.
The cake will be left untouched in the freezer until it is time to present the cake.
Sound and Stage equipment will be delivered and set up by A/V Stage Production the morning before the party.
The sound equipment is not to be touched by anyone else other than them. They will perform a mic check prior to
the event beginning to make sure everything is set and in order.
The dance oor will be delivered by the rental company the morning before the party. The rental company will put
the oor into place and it will be left alone until the event begins.
Thor's Obstacle Bounce Houses will be delivered by the rental company . The company will in ate and install these
bounce houses the morning of the party. They will be set up in one end of the yard. The operators sent by the
company will stay at their assigned bounce house station for the duration of the party to ensure kids stay safe and
have fun with the activity.
Two days prior to the party, all of the Rocket's Fair-Mania equipment will be delivered and installed by the
operators provided. We will need to be in contact with the company of where to set up each activity and when to
arrive back at the day of the event in order to properly execute each activity. 
Peggy's Party Rentals will arrive the morning of the event to begin set up of the giant lawn games. We will need to
be in communication with them to know where each activities needs to be set up. We will also need to
communicate with them where the tables and chairs will need to be set up for food and lounging.
The balloons will be delivered the day of the party and we will need to set the up in the correct area. We don't
want the balloon banner blocking any other aspect of the party so we will pick a designated area for the balloon
banner.

Peters Prop Plants will be delivered the morning of the party. They will be set up in the designated areas around
the party to provide the proper aesthetic for the party.
The servers from Sam's Service will arrive the afternoon of the event. They will have someone in charge of them
from Sam's Service to provide them with the direction they need to serve the event. If there are any complaints or
requests they should be directed towards Sam himself.
The Starlord DJ will arrive the afternoon of the party and he will set up everything he needs for the event. We will
put him in communication with A/V Stage Structures so that they are on the same page with sound and
equipment. 
Happy's security team will arrive to the event a few hours prior to the event start. Will will communicate here we
want them and how they should conduct themselves if anything were to happen. The bouncers will be set up at
each entrance, security scattered around the event, and the nurses set up inside in case someone gets injured or
sick.
We will be in contact with Famous Peoples Insurance Company three weeks prior to the event to ensure that our
insurance is set up correctly before the party.
Our objective for this project is to make sure everything is set in place prior to the event so that the event can run
as smoothly as possible. We want to be as prepared as we can, thats why we have been in communication with
so many companies about set up and meet times, and what we expect of them during the party itself. We want
guests to feel like they can just enjoy themselves and have everything set up for them so they don't have to do any
work or worry about a thing. We will need to continue to communicate with each other and out vendors
throughout the event to make sure things continue to run as smooth and ef ciently as possible. We have taken the
necessary precautions so that if something does not go as planned we will be ready.
