Abstract

Quality education can solve a lot of problems. Not the traditional education where we learn from
textbooks and finally getting some degree but the people of tribal communities lack basic knowledge
and education. They should be taught different things like how to communicate with someone or the
girls should be taught how to use a sanitary napkin. There are so many things that these people are
ignorant about.

Education Centre gives them the opportunity to learn and unlearn many things that will help them in
their life. Teaching them skills and practices that will benefit them. Helping them with proper and
healthy lifestyle choices

Proper learning spaces for everyone in the community, activity space, gathering space, workshops,
exhibition spaces, play area, study area, counseling, health care services, public awareness services

Aim

 A Centre providing education and other services for the tribal communities

 A space where they can do things or learn things in their own way

 A space for everyone in the community to learn what they really want

 A space which will feel like home and they will feel a sense of belonging
Objectives

 Identify the major issues within the community concerning their education

 Give them alternate ways to learn which is different from the current education system

 Making them comfortable by providing space for this learning process in their native area

Research question

 Role of architecture in bringing the community together and providing them with education and
services?

 How architecture can help the community to stay connected and live as a group?

Scope

Providing the quality education and knowledge they need will help them to solve many of their issues
like unemployment, poverty, health and wellness, lifestyle and finally the uplifting of the community will
be the end result
Eco pods in polluted cities, India - Delhi

Abstract

Creating small capsules within the polluted city will offer the users with fresh and green surroundings.
Where they can come and work or sit there and study.

Aim

 Creating a space where people can take a break from the crowded and polluted city like Delhi in
India

 These pods can be used as a workstation or a study room or may be a phone booth.

 This pods will be created near the metro stations and other major transit points

Objectives

 Identify the major locations where you need this eco pods

 Identify the user group and time


Housing and Rehabilitation program for the migrant
workers

Aim

 Provide the migrant workers and their families with all the basic needs and shelter

 A community space where people live with proper facilities
